Essence of theComposite Self

By drinking this Essence you become the foundation of something strange.

• Whenever you defeat or kill an entity you will gain all of their positive and useful traits, aspects, abilities, skills, knowledge, etc. negative traits such as weakness and traumas are all left behind. Example: if you somehow kill a genie and gain the nigh omnipotent they had you won’t be bound to a lamp, compelled to fulfill wishes or be unable to kill/resurrect whoever you want or mess with free will.

• From the smallest of insects to the mightiest of gods, their power is yours if you can take it.

• “Defeat” was left vague for a reason, use it how you wish as…

• You basically gain a template of that entity. Don’t worry, it’ll never cause death of personality or make changes that you don’t want or aren’t totally comfortable with. Additionally, you don’t gain their race but anything they had because of their race is yours now, so defeating a Kryptonian or Saiyan doesn’t turn you into one but will grant you all of abilities of that race/bloodline.

• Should you require the use of limbs and appendages that you don’t have to use something you plundered from some other entity then a spectral copy of the limbs/appendages you need will be created for the duration of your need.

• Should you gain some sort of shape-shifting ability then you can take on the forms of those you plundered.

• Opposing traits and aspects can/will harmonize within you to avoid any sort of negative backlash.

• Plundering an entity for everything they have doesn’t grant any objects, items, artifacts, etc. that they might have, so killing a Green Lantern won’t grant you their ring and defeating a Heroic Spirit wouldn’t grant you their Noble Phantasm unless it was a skill or ability instead of weapons like Ea, Excalibur, etc. but you would gain all of their personal and class skills and parameters.

• Gaining more of the same attributes and aspects are compounded, so if your strength is measured as, let’s say 5, then you kill a group of three people who each also have a strength 5 of then your new strength will be raised to and measured as 20, same with all of their other attributes and aspects like speed, intellect, potential, talent, stamina, willpower, life force, life span, divinity, reserves of energy, etc.

• Speaking of energy reserves, you gain an internal reservoir of all-purpose mana that can be used in place of any other supernatural energy source. When you plunder the energy supply of an entity their max possible energy capacity will be added to yours and grow your mana by the same amount taken. Example: if you start out with 10 units of mana and kill/defeat… how about Solomon or Merlin, and either has 1'000 units of whatever energy then your 10 units grows to 1'010 units of mana.

• Your mana control is perfectly precise both consciously and subconsciously as well as your mana regenerating and going from completely empty to filled in 15 minutes regardless of how vast or quickly growing becomes. It will even regenerate while being used, so as long as you don’t do something that will empty it in less than 15 minutes then you’ll have functionally infinite mana to work with.
