You can reverse engineer or recreate literally anything with time, from skills to bodies of knowledge, entire magic systems and Clark-tech. This ability only works for subjects that you’re aware of the existence of, so you can only recreate what you know of. The more you initially know/understand about what you’re trying to reverse engineer the faster you can recreate them. Having even a small sample to study and extrapolate from increases your progress speed astronomically. Generally speaking it shouldn’t take more than 3 months to completely reverse engineer something from just its name, less if it’s single subject and not a comprehensive one. Example: recreating a single technique from a martial art will be much faster than if you were trying to recreate the entire martial arts style.
