AI summary

Makes you a legendary samurai in the making, with mastery of your own dual-wielding sword techniques (katana and broadsword), endurance enough to fight for a year without rest, and the will to face down godlike beings. You gain Fusion, a weapon that assimilates life force so you can use the skills of those it takes at an energy cost, upgradeable with materials that change its glow — optionally becoming a skill usable with any weapon that copies abilities on contact instead of leeching. You also gain the sentient Sword of Luminescence, Lumina, which may house the consciousness of a dark entity that once threatened a world, upgrades at twice Fusion's material cost, and can serve as a perfect substitute for any component of a seal at the price of losing it.

Description

Drinking from this tower-like bottle with a sword-shaped cork makes you savor a nostalgic taste of a memory about a samurai assimilating someone for their skill… Which is odd, because this Essence tastes like a run-of-the-mill cherry juice.

Effects

47
  • You have obtained a single-use One-Time Appearance Change Ticket. You can use it by ripping it apart or destroying it in any way possible. This change is retroactive.

  • If you have managed to use a single-use One-Time Appearance Change Ticket, you will gain one that you can use if you don’t have any means to change forms. This won’t be retroactive but it does allow you to have another Base Form if you have the means to shapeshift.

  • You have become akin to a legendary samurai. You may not be as good as an actual legendary samurai, but you have the potential to do so.

  • Your swordsmanship, if you don’t have any, is now to the point that you are a master of your own weapon techniques. Mostly sword techniques, though. Dual-wielding specifically, one katana and one broadsword.

  • Your endurance is immense to the point that you can fight for over a single year without resting.

  • You outrun a giant statue head falling down the side of the tower, chasing you until you get to a safe place where an arch saves you from said statue head. Weird, how really specific this is…

  • You have the will to face down a godlike entity and carry onward to beat it.

  • You have obtained the weapon known as Fusion. This weapon has the power to assimilate life force, allowing the user to utilize all the skills they possess. To use their skills, you must expend energy equivalent to their source. This cost will decrease the more you use or train with them.

  • Fusion can also glow blue… Not really anything on that aspect, other than it is a good light source. You can upgrade Fusion with any materials you have; each material's rarity changes the glow of Fusion. (Below Average/Average = Blue → Uncommon = Yellow → Rare = Red → Epic = Green → Legendary = Sky Blue → Mythical and Beyond = Pure White | Mixed = Iridescent).

  • Optionally, you have a limited number of slots for the active skills you have taken. The default is two. Getting this option will halve the energy requirement for skill usage.

  • Optionally, Fusion is not a weapon but a skill that you can use with any weapons you get hold of. Not only that, but you can disable the leech aspect and instead copy the skill directly upon contact. Using this aspect won’t store.

  • You have obtained the Sword of Luminescence, Lumina. It is sentient and may or may not hold the consciousness of a dark entity that once threatened a world.

  • The Sword of Luminescence glows red, which is mostly cosmetic, other than being a good light source if you’re in a dark place.

  • The Lumina can be upgraded via any material you have. However, do note that you need twice the amount of what you need to upgrade Fusion. The glow of Lumina will change, albeit to the opposite color of what Fusion has in that rank. (Below Average/Average = Red → Uncommon = Indigo → Rare = Blue → Epic = Magenta → Legendary = Orange → Mythical and Beyond or Mixed = Silver-Black/Purple).

  • The Lumina, despite being a sword, is actually the perfect Sealing Component. It can replace any important piece of a seal with itself. However, doing this will result in you losing access to the Lumina.

  • A side-effect of this aspect is that the Sword of Luminescence is capable of breaking any form of defenses or seals by utilizing its nature to seal things into itself, empowering its strikes temporarily during its impact. This side-effect automatically activates should you find yourself sealed somewhere. This side-effect doesn’t work on those without an iota of magical energy,

  • The Lumina has the power over the five elements: Earth, Water, Fire, Wind, and Sky. To use this power, you must charge it up first with any form of energy you currently have. Once you have fully charged up the Sword of Luminescence, it will be surrounded by the aforementioned element on its surface.

  • Through Earth, you are able to utilize quakes in a variety of ways. You may even embed the Sword of Luminescence in the ground and cause the area to move through your whims.

  • You may even cause the very ground to become similar to a blocky material that moves like geometric sand. Your strikes, when empowered by the Earth, are enhanced and weighted. You will hit like a hammer.

  • Through Water, you are able to create some sort of flowing liquid from the Lumina’s blade. This flowing liquid is mostly water, but it can be changed if you know the liquid you wish to generate. Not only that, but the power of Water creates an extension of itself in the form of a surging aura and droplets trailing around the Lumina, allowing you to create a few echoes of itself. If you focus the echoes, you can create an extension of the Lumina itself, allowing you to reach further as you use more energy. The Water extension of Lumina deals heavy piercing damage, akin to those water drills. The number of echoes increases over time or through training. You currently have three echoes.

  • You may instead charge up the flowing liquid and use up an echo to shoot globules of said liquid to attack at a distance or put out fires, except when the liquid is flammable, then it will intensify the flame instead.

  • Through Fire, the Sword of Luminescence will clad a burning aura. The heat emitted by the Lumina is enough to melt metal and set stone ablaze. You are protected from the heat by the Lumina, but your allies can’t be the same. They are in the splash zone, they should’ve evacuated.

  • Using Fire will allow you to generate orbs of flame to deal damage to ranged targets. After charging the Sword of Luminescence, you can create a concentrated heat wave that damages everything in its path, albeit not as focused as Water. Upon full charge, large swathes of Fire can be collected and released as a heavy burning attack.

  • Through Wind, the Sword of Luminescence will be wrapped in turbulent winds. The Wind Wrapping will eviscerate or shred everything it touches, and you can explode the wind to generate a shockwave to deal damage to your enemies or launch them away from you.

  • When charging Wind, you are immune to being moved by knockbacks like the enemies’ attacks. Not only that, but the Wind creates a shell that protects you from environmental damage… if you don’t have any means to block said damage.

  • At full charge, you can use the Wind to drill through objects. The Wind Drill increases in size the more you use it or through training.

  • Lastly, through the Sky, well, not really the Sky as it is actually the VOID; you can tamper with shadows, space, and time.

  • You can create copies of the Lumina itself; they will float around you like a shadowy mirage version of itself, and they will attack in bursts of speed whenever you do so. The Shadow Mirages will not interfere with your attacks, even if you are actively using light powers.

  • You may instead completely wrap yourself with the power of the Sky/VOID, allowing you to transform into “high vibration energy waves”... Basically, turning you invisible. At full charge, you can phase through objects.

  • You may also use the Sky/VOID to fly by wrapping yourself with its power without charging it first.

  • Currently, you can only use one element and must unlock one of them over time or through training. However, there is a faster way if you take the option below.

  • The Sword of Luminscence will always return to your possession. Either outright boomeranging back to your grasp or teleporting to its sheathe.

  • Optionally, you may have the Lumina itself already taking the place of a seal for a world-ending entity. Taking this option would make you lose access to the Lumina until you get it back, and you always know where it is and how far it is to you. This option also makes you forget all about the world-ending entity sealed away.

  • Taking this option might give Lumina the mind of said world-ending entity. But you’ll never know until it talks to you. Said world-ending entity might help you if both of your goals are aligned.

  • You have gained the Legendary Vestments of the Brave Fencer. Each part of it grants an enchantment that boosts your capabilities.

  • The Legendary Brace allows you to climb unclimbable surfaces, if there are any. It also protects you from minor environmental hazards. It also grants you immense strength. Enough to carry a giant robot and throw it off a cliff.

  • The Legendary Belt allows you to jump again by creating a temporary platform on your feet. The cost for creating the platform isn’t that much, but you can’t do it again after 2 jumps. You can decrease the cost over time by using it. The cost will drop to negligible levels for a decade if you only use it a few times a week.

  • The Legendary Goggles allow you to appraise objects. You may also use it to scan your foes, but it won’t be as accurate as you think it will be unless you manage to defeat them. If your foes grow stronger after you’ve beaten them, the readings will need an update.

  • The Legendary Shoes allow you to walk on slippery surfaces. It also allows you to wall run if you didn’t have the power already.

  • The Legendary Gloves will occasionally augment your attacks if you hit places where it is outright damaging to your foes. This augmented attack might be an outright kill move, or it will deal heavy lethal damage, enough to cripple them.

  • The Legendary Quilt will always make you earn a good night’s sleep or be well rested, even if you have just rested for a few minutes.

  • Optionally, you may gain a companion from the Settings of Brave Fencer Musashi and Musashi: Samurai Legend.

  • Optionally, you may be reincarnated to the Setting of Brave Fencer Musashi, Musashi: Samurai Legend, or any Settings made by SquareSoft. Whether canon or fanon, it is up to you.

  • You may reincarnate into the Setting, you may even be reincarnated to a Musashi-expy or a descendant of Musashi. Be warned that reincarnating to a canon character won’t give you the powers that they will normally gain in canon or fanon.

  • Optionally, you may instead be summoned to a Setting of your own choice by a local there. They might be asking for a hero to save them, their people, their country, or just curious on what that scribble on their ancestor's notes does and if it is real. Be warned for the latter option, they might be members of a cult or an occult club, and they will never leave you alone.

  • This Essence can’t be erased, forcibly changed, removed, or stolen. Doing so will unleash the Fusion’s power and assimilate them completely, their skills becoming a part of the blade or power itself.

  • Fanwank responsibly.
