Essence of theExponential Resource Management

Imbibing this pickaxe-shaped drink- wait, this isn’t a drink nor a pickaxe. This is just a large boulder… what?

• You have gained a one-time appearance change ticket. This is purely cosmetic, and it won’t heal or restore you to perfect health. You need something else for that.

• You have gained some sort of power that allows you to manage exponential resources mined from a single source. Yes, my friend. You are now a manager of an exponentially incremental mine.

• The mine exists in a pocket dimension that can only be entered by you or those whom you have allowed. It has a single Mining Source.

• The Mining Source is absolutely and literally indestructible. Mining it will generate the resources you have currently researched from Administration Mode, found through the shop equivalent of this Essence, or gained through Gacha.

• You gain access to a basic Mining Platform to extract resources from the Mining Source automatically.

• You can upgrade the Mining Platform to extract more resources further.

• You can create buildings that create or generate Mining Units to extract resources even further. The default units are known as the Apologuial Gnarps.

• The units are nigh-invincible. Only an item equivalent to a Mining Source-empowered Excalibur can damage them, and even then, they will probably respawn.

• You can command the Mining Units not to do their intended purpose and do something else, like fighting on your behalf. However, they will always return to taking resources from the Mining Source.

• You can create utilities to upgrade the Mining Platform, existing units, or yourself.

• Optionally, you may nerf yourself to get infinite Mining Source Spots but limited resources to mine. The resources restore themselves to full if the allotted time has passed. The time can be reduced until Planck time, but the cost of reducing time increases twofold.

• You can enter a challenge mode called the Administration Mode. In this Mode, you may partake in challenges or reach a theoretical limit of infinity, which is represented by the maximum number of characters in a digital computer. (2'147'483'647).

• During Administration Mode, you are able to research more resources to extract from the Mining Source.

• You have the option to enable hostile entities to arrive in broad waves to attack your Mining Platform. This unlocks rudimentary defenses. If you have the Static Location Defender, then your defenses are upgraded to its Essential standards.

• You have access to a Gacha that only accepts Prestige Points. This Gacha grants new resources to extract from the Mining Source or upgrades to your Mining Platform.

• You may use the resources to buy things in the Trade Post. The rarer the resource, the more you can buy. What? You thought I was going to say shop? That was done, like, multiple times already.

• For some reason, you have either the perfect replica or the original itself, but nonetheless, you're the proud owner of Excalibur. I have no idea why you have it, but it will consider you its true owner… Even if the reincarnation of the Once and Future King is outright beside you, cutely hitting you in the head for stealing their weapon. They are definitely not pouting.

• The Mining Source empowers this Excalibur. The more you mine from it, the more powerful this weapon becomes.

• In case you didn’t know it yet, you are hilariously good at logistics. Like, absolutely good at it to the point a god might hire your services if their pantheon is in a war with another pantheon.

• Yes, you may cause the war to go on forever through backhanded deals, but why would you do that? Only villains do that… Unless you are a villain.

• Optionally, take the Incremental Roguelike Survivor and the Static Location Defender to complete a trifecta Essence Synergy.

• This Essence can’t be erased, forcibly changed, removed, or stolen. Doing so will cause it to backfire spectacularly, as this Essence is semi-sentient and will actively defend itself from the one who tried to do so.

• The one that tried to do so will be turned into a new resource spot that you and your forces can mine.

• They will feel pain from being mined. The pain will always be fresh.
