• One-time sculpt of your appearance. Be anyone you want.

• You have a list. Not just any list, but a list of bad things that you’ve done. This list isn’t normal though as it auto-updates for every bad thing, or as close to one, you’ve done. This list is special, for when you resolve that bad thing, you will be given an equivalent reward through karmic gain.

  • You also obsess over it. No clue why, though.

  • Example: Neglected a dog can be resolved by petting the dog and playing with it for the whole day. The reward would just be a free squeaky toy from somewhere like a store sale, or having the dog itself become your pet for life.

  • Another example is when you have attempted to kill an extremely dangerous multiversal villain like Darkseid and you’ve decided to save him to right this “wrong”. This results in two rewards. The first of the two rewards is that the villain slowly changing his villainous ways and will go out of their way to actually do good things, but they will still do bad things from time to time. The last of the two rewards is an unmarked Essence potion which grants you a random Essence from the CYOA.

• For some strange reason, every person who watches you do your list or was on the list has a strange fascination with making a list of every bad thing they’ve done and righting their wrongs.

  • This effect exponentially increases the harder the bad thing you’ve done. This means a lot of people would make their lists and try to resolve it.

  • An example of this is when you are saving an entire civilization with them none the wiser of you accidentally causing the whole incident will cause a lot of bad people to rethink their lives.

  • Another example is when you’re in a Cultivation World where an Evil God itself rules absolutely. This effect will ripple outwards until every mortal and immortal out there is now trying to set right what once went wrong and caused Good to triumph once again by fighting the Evil God. Yes, even the plants and animals.

• The Karma itself shines upon thee. For every good you’ve done, you’ll find the reality itself is ensuring that you will always be safe and unharmed.

  • Not only that, but the trope “No good deed goes unpunished” doesn’t work whenever you’re around and those who have decided to emulate you.

• Should you suffer debilitating injuries or be in a state where death would be in the next second, you will instead be shoved into a coma. Anyone who knows about you and the list will know that to wake you up, they have to do some items off the list. If you don’t have anyone who knows about the list, Karma itself would ensure that one way or the other someone will do certain items in the list and resolve them.

• Somehow, you can travel to other worlds where the list will get a set of bad things your counterpart has done in every single world out there.

• Optionally, you may not have a list but you have the power to cause people to have the Karmic Debt List instead. You won’t get rewards if you do so, as you’re running away from your responsibilities you coward. Everyone will also know you’re running away from your responsibilities.

  • Yes, even the tardigrades.

• Should you manage to somehow complete this list, this Essence will become the optional choice above and you will gain a new Essence based on how great your journey is in clearing the list.

  • If you have completed the list instead of running away from it, you won’t be labeled as a coward. Your list will still auto-update if you really, really feel bad about that thing you did and the whole objective would be optional.
