AI summary
Grants the Navajo Tribe's Western Cultivation Method, a spiritually inclined and esoteric tradition highly compatible with Aztec and Incan practice, split across three paths. The Golden Path of the Shamans is the safe, teachable one, working through rituals such as the Rite of the Gentle Rain and the Flame of the Dark World (which upgrades into the Baleful Flame of the Black God after ten consecutive years) and blessings such as the Winds of Life, which resurrects the blessed, and the Coyote's Joy, which strengthens them in rain or flowing water until they kill an innocent. You also receive a Blessed Way of your own, making you master of your own fate and placing you outside fate, destiny and time; the Tainted Path of the Skinwalker and the Accursed Path of the Wendigo are the darker alternatives, feared even among shamans.

Description
Drinking this Essence gives you the urge to take jean jackets and wear them for some reason.
Effects
4By taking this Essence, you have gained the Western Cultivation Method of the Navajo Tribe. They are inclined spiritually and more esoteric than the normal ways of the Western Cultivations. They are heavily inclined to spirits and know which person is considered "evil" depending on how much malevolence a soul gains from the world. Their meridians are called Holy Wind or Niłchʼi Diyin and their cores are called Worlds, the Hózhǫǫǫǫgiizhii. Each World, Hózhǫǫǫǫgi, is represented by five colors: Black/Shádiizááh, Blue/Siiyáázhí, Yellow/Tséyiitah, White/Siiyáázhí, and Colorless/Grey or Tłʼizíłání/Chʼiláhii. Each World has four Holy Winds to represent the colors that shaped the Creation of the World and two extra ones that are grey and colorless to represent the current iteration of the world.
The Shamanic Arts are somehow too similar to the Aztecs and Inca, resulting in immense compatibility in learning them.
They have three currently known paths that you now have access to. The Golden Path of the Shamans, the Tainted Path of the Skinwalker, and the Accursed Path of the Wendigo.
The Golden Path of the Shamans - The most common and ordinary path that they have. It is sufficiently understood enough that you can safely impart knowledge to others. This Path of the Shamanic Arts mostly involves rituals (combat or not) and blessings in honor of their gods.
Examples of Rituals:
Rite of the Gentle Rain - “Summons a rain cloud to drench an area. Useful for annoying Skinwalkers or tracking down invisible opponents in outside areas. If used continuously, it may lead to severe flooding or drought after the rain ends.”
The Flame of the Dark World - “Molds a flame from a source to either throw at an opponent or mold into a weapon. The flame blackens as a result of this ritual. It must be performed once a month for constant usage, and the effect stacks until the Shaman forgets to perform the rites and must be performed again albeit the stacked effect will reset back to the beginning. The flame has a white core and a dark-bluish outer shell. After ten consecutive years, this evolves into the Baleful Flame of the Black God.”
Baleful Flame of the Black God - “Should a Shaman manage to perform the Flame of the Dark World rite for ten consecutive years, the Flame will be upgraded and have the stacking effect permanently integrated into the Shaman. The flame will now gain a black core and an outer shell of purple unlike the white core and dark bluish outer shell of the non-upgraded version. The Shaman can still perform the Flame of the Dark World rite, but it will be separate and won't be upgraded anymore.”
Examples of Blessings:
The Winds of Life - “Resurrects the blessed upon death. Must be used again after a year from the date of resurrection to allow the blessed to return to life once again. The blessing lasts for a month and must be done on a windy day.”
The Coyote's Joy - “This blessing grants the blessed increased strength when under rain or flowing water. This blessing lasts forever until the blessed kills an innocent individual, whether they are considered evil by society or not.”
You are granted a Blessed Way of your own. You are now the master of your own fate and carve your path to your ideal future. This also makes you outside of fate, destiny, and time itself. No one can force you out of your Blessed Way.
The Accursed Path of the Skinwalker - This path’s name is feared as it is a path tainted with corpses of fellow kin, and it is considered a boogeyman to every Shaman, or any person, out there. The Path of a Skinwalker starts by wearing the fresh skin of your foes. This Shaman Art is mostly used in assassinations and infiltrations. They are frowned upon by the Navajo Shamans but they are still accepted in their Tribes as there is a path worse than this. They are the equivalent of Druids for Navajo Shamans.
You can now infect other people into becoming Skinwalkers with their bite. However, those infected won't have most of their mental faculties and they are incredibly loyal to the ones that infected them. Normally over time, that loyalty disappears as their mental faculties return, but yours is permanent. Allowing you to command them indefinitely.
Sometimes, the infection would lead to unforeseen complications. If the prey has more energy than the infector or through sheer will, the prey becomes the predator... A Wendigo… which is also under your control due to your nature. But they will regain their mental faculties.
You can manipulate your blood as an extension of yourself. Allowing you to form and shape them into anything, like weapons and couches.
You don’t have the weaknesses of the Skinwalkers, such as blood loss from using your blood in flowing water.
You can wear the skin of your prey, allowing you to take their form. This also allows you to use their strength even in your base form, or even infiltrate to become them. Everyone will ignore the oddities you exhibit should you decide to become them permanently. Only those who are special, like protagonists and antagonists, will find you quite eccentric but won’t question it further.
The Accursed Path of the Wendigo
This is worse than wearing one's kin as their own. Those who follow this path are cursed to take the flesh of others to satiate their ravenous hunger. Those who make foes of the Wendigo would fear how far they go to take them down, and those who befriended them are all considered a bunch of madmen. This is the most physically and esoterically inclined of the Navajo Shamanic Arts and the closest thing to Demonic Cultivation for them. It’s a really good thing that you’re an abnormal, and that you somehow became a Wendigo without killing others. Maybe you’re bitten by a Skinwalker but your will triumphed over the beastly instinct, or you’re one of those that are incredibly lucky enough to become one. A fluke in one-in-a-billion.
Your durability and strength are heightened exponentially to the point you can beat minor gods should you manage to complete a World, and you may even surpass that should you completely ascend.
Your very being is always accompanied by a chill unlike another. Conceptual Ice and Frost always heralded your very presence. You are immune to ice and frost as a result, and you are highly resistant to fire, unlike normal Wendigoes.
You master the deathly arts incredibly fast. Causing necromancy and the like to always be easy to you like sipping a coffee in the morning. You could make even Liches and Death Gods question if you’re one of them.
Due to your very nature, you are good at killing or hunting down beings that disguise themselves as someone or something. Nothing escapes you on your hunt.
You are now immune to viral infections or any plague of some kind.
You also don’t have their intense need to take any being’s skin and their lives for your own.
You don’t have their ravenous hunger, but you can consume your prey and gain the apex version of their abilities and skills. Yes, even if you cook them, you can still gain their abilities and skills. An example of this would be a dragon’s breath of fire turning into a gout of nuclear plasma.
You can create techniques regarding the Shamanic Arts very easily. This allows you to create your Tribe, their version of a Sect, should you desire so.
You can invoke the Hospitality of the House-God to a designated area. This four-day-long ritual will turn that area into a neutral place where people and critters can interact peacefully. However, if one breaks the rules designated by the ritualist, everyone in the area will immediately get notified and non-allies must flee otherwise the area will become a bloodbath. The rulebreaker would cause their cultivation level to drop by two temporarily while in the area. If the rulebreaker successfully escapes, their cultivation will only drop by one as a consequence of breaking the Hospitality. The ritualist and their allies will get a huge or a slight boost depending on how many they are in the area. If there are no allies around, the ritualist will gain a huge boost temporarily and a slight permanent boost after the rulebreaker is dead or they escape the area.
Your cultivation can’t be destroyed, and any deviances from your cultivation merely grant you an easier path to pierce through any bottlenecks you have.
Fanwank responsibly.
This Essence can’t be destroyed, forcibly changed, stolen, or erased.
