Essence of theOne who Roars in the Deepest Dark

Imbibing this black liquid surrounded by a silvery light outline, you felt something deep within you roar… And it isn’t made from your voice but something more horrifying.

• You have obtained a one-time appearance change ticket. Using this ticket will alter your default appearance. You can shape yourself into another, but you always revert to your default form.

• You have heard it. That roar that didn’t just come from you, but somewhere deeper inside you. Good. That means you’re on the right path to taking your new role. You are no longer whatever you were before you take this Essence, but something else now. You are a being made entirely of Darkness that was infused with the Fear of the Unknown, Pure DETERMINATION, and somehow… The VOID.

• You are unbound by the Colors that the SOULs gave off. If you ever take a look at your SOUL, you’ll either see it silver with a black aura, or it is colored black with an aura of silver emanating away from it.

• Darker yet darker still, your very existence marred reality itself with your. Light dims or even outright fades away if you get too close to the source of it.

• Don’t worry, you can create a “False Light” source, so you can still see even in the Dark.

• Your very being reverberates the Pure Darkness of DETERMINATION. You will emanate a trail of afterimages with a silvery outline around you and away from you. This effect is toggleable, but it automatically activates during events where you are quote-unquote… Aura Farming.

• This has the side-effect of making you lose all mental interferences, such as some emotions that are quite detrimental at the current time. This makes you quite apathetic most of the time.

• It also grants you immense endurance and nigh-infinite stamina.

• With your DETERMINATION, you are able to create a Save State. They look like a four-pointed silver star hovering mid-air, twinkling as if it were a natural addition to the area. People without sufficient DETERMINATION can’t see it. Those who can see it can Save their “progress”, which is separate from your own “progress” in the Save States.

• You can load a Save State, allowing you to “respawn” in the area. You will automatically load a Save State whenever you die, rendering everything that happened after it meaningless. Except, it isn’t meaningless to you. You retain everything that happened in the “erased” timeline while being restored in a previous state of your existence, allowing you to retain stats and items.

• By a complete side effect, you are a master aura farmer, allowing you to act cool as fuck while posing.

• Due to your very being composed of the Pure Darkness of DETERMINATION, you can’t be damaged normally. Only those who know how to emanate Light from their SOUL can damage you, but even then… You might become very resistant to that damage. Only those with the Pure Light of DETERMINATION can damage you normally.

• You can focus the Pure Darkness of DETERMINATION you have into a single strike, causing an unblockable attack that inflicts the status effect known as Swoon. Those affected by Swoon can’t be healed or restored normally and need a powerful resurrection effect just to cancel it.

• Those afflicted with Swoon are considered dead to all accounts of the concept.

• You can survive almost anything, even being shattered by the very creation you have made. The only thing that can take you down is your hard counter, a SOUL filled with nothing but DETERMINATION. But even then, you might take them down first.

• You can form weapons from your Darkness. They are very durable to the point that the only way to damage them is by hitting them with three fated individuals doing everything they can to stop you from bringing an end to everything. And even then, they might end up just dislodging a piece of it.

• The more DETERMINED you are at doing something, the more likely it will happen even if existence itself says no to you.

• You can’t be erased. Your actions can’t be removed from a Timeline. Any action you will do will always happen whether by your own hand or others. You are the inevitability to everything. Not even the manipulation of Fate itself can stop your actions from happening other than your own hands. Your existence is the consequence of manipulating Fate after all.

• You are a master combatant to the point that you can hit hard enough to reduce someone to a pile of dust.

• You are considered a Boss Monster due to what you are now. Your magical prowess rivals and even surpasses the Boss Monsters.

• Any magical projectile you summon will be drenched in the Darkness that makes up your very being. This causes them to appear as pure black silhouettes surrounded by a silvery aura.

• You are able to assimilate the SOUL of another being, allowing you access to what makes them “special”. Assimilating a SOUL of Justice will make you more powerful the more sin the foe you are facing. Assimilating a certain SOUL filled with nothing but PAIN will allow you to have access to the power known as Overwrite.

• Don’t worry about the SOUL having the DETERMINATION to control you, your Dark DETERMINATION eradicates their will as they are placed into a Pocket Dark World where they think they have already won. The more they try to leave, the harder the Dark World will resist their actions to the point of making their idyllic life hell. That Pocket Dark World can only be accessed by you or any being that you have empowered through the greyed-out doors.

• You can tear reality apart to split itself in a line, causing the VOID to bleed out into the world briefly. This attack causes heavy disorientation to those who aren’t prepared. Those who got used to it, however, will have to deal with dark-enhanced projectiles created by the shattered fragments of reality in the area you’ve performed this attack.

• By channeling your Dark DETERMINATION, you can create a Dark World, a world where those with forms bound yet have no life—AKA the objects—in the Real World can live as a being composed of the Darkness that makes you up and the ambient, lingering fear in the area… The Darkners.

• If the object is filled with love and cared for by an individual who has long passed away, they might bring back that individual in a new form when you make a Dark World near them. Allowing them to live another life once again.

• Anyone inside the Dark World will amplify everything that they have. A person with a very weak healing spell might end up becoming a tool to restore life in greater value than what they are outside the Dark World.

• Anything brought to the Dark World will gain new forms. An example would be a pencil becoming a sword. Another example would be a pen becoming an axe.

• You may do the same thing by making the item “wear” your Darkness. This will allow them to exist in their changed state outside of the Dark World.

• You can form Dark Titans, beings of Pure DETERMINATION born from the Darkness and lingering Fear of the area inside a Dark World. They can look different depending on their location. An example would be a Dark Titan formed in a church, featuring angel-like wings that can shield its vulnerable face, a gaping hole covered by DETERMINATION in the form of a four-pointed star. They obey you absolutely for you are their Creator and Lord.

• The Dark Titans propagate themselves by forming another Dark Titan in another location. Unless commanded, they will propagate endlessly.

• Due to the nature of this Essence, you and the Dark Titans can just create Dark Titans even outside the Dark World. This would result in a weird glitched out reality where the resulting Dark World that was supposed to appear in the area will instead slowly merge with the Real World and causing problems for everyone else.

• As a Denizen of the VOID, which is a place that is considered between realities, timelines, and worlds, you are able to persist outside reality and see the Codes that make up everything. You can interfere with the Reality Codes, but that would cause wanton chaos.

• Whilst in the VOID, you are able to find greyed-out structures that are similar to the locations you have found. There might be other Denizens living there, as the structures are very rare inside the VOID.

• “If you found a colorful humanoid deer, feel free to take her out of the VOID. She kept crying and contaminating everything with tears. We just want to be comfy in the vast nothingness.” - The Goner Dude, AKA the VESSEL.

• “There’s a person here who occasionally shows up and gives people eggs for some undefinable reason. We don’t know why he does that. But I have several of those eggs now. I wonder if they can hatch.” - Goner Kid.

• “Weirdly enough, I have no idea how I got here. They claimed I fell, but I just wandered into my closet one day and can’t find the exit anymore.” - W.D. Gaster, former Royal Scientist.

• “I’m the one who made him fall in the closet… If you want to see, I have the recording.” - The FRIEND.

• You can always find greyed-out doors in places where the so-called Liminality is rather high. It allows you to fast travel to other greyed-out doors or enter the VOID.

• Other greyed-out doors appear occasionally, even when not in a place with high Liminality. They are a one-time access, and if you leave it, the greyed-out door will disappear. The areas behind these other greyed-out doors are rather small, and they can contain some tidbits of information in the area you are in. Said tidbits are very vague and won’t be exactly helpful unless you have the means to decode their meaning.

• You can create doors to allow yourself fast travel, but doing so will remove its greyed-out features from the VOID and cause it to gain color. Due to it no longer “connected to the VOID”, the door can’t traverse to places you have found in the VOID. Increasing the Liminality in the area will revert the door to a greyed-out door. Also, the door has some weird cosmetic prismatic flames surrounding it.

• Through VOID, you can disincorporate yourself from reality itself, allowing you to not be affected by the laws embedded in everything. This has a side-effect, this aspect allows you to persist outside a True Reset and retain your memories. Not only that, but whenever you are using this aspect, you will create error messages around your very being. The errors are purely cosmetic due to your very nature and this Essence won’t let you be driven down that spiraling self-destructive path that far.

• You can unleash the Roaring. When you do so, you will roar so loud, everyone in the World, even dimensions located near it, and might even the entire Setting itself, will hear it. Then, Pillars of Darkness will erupt from the ground to cover the entire world until no light can persist, as the World will be converted into a gigantic Dark Universe where your rule is absolute.

• Unleashing the Roaring, however, overexposes the Darkners in every single Dark World created in the world or setting, causing them to be turned to stone. Some Darkness will persist, but they are merely slowing down the inevitability.

• This also results in countless Dark Titans being formed immediately to go forth and destroy every single life until there is none in the area.

• As the One who Roars in the Deepest Dark, you are considered one of the many Cosmic Beings who regulate the growth of worlds by smothering them with endless strife until the world can no longer take it and dies. Thus, every Cosmic Being will treat you as a Destroyer who upholds the Balance of the Universe and Beyond.

• Anyone who attempts to divine your presence, or existence, would fill with immense dread and fear as you are immediately alerted to their presence.

• Anyone who attempts to erase you will instead allow your goals to be completed. A person who are attempting to find out the truth of your actions will become ostracized by the very people they are asking for help.

• This also makes you grow stronger over time much like the very Dark Titans you can make.

• Optionally, much like in Help_Tale, you are a complete Amalgamation of your other selves. However, you are the only known one to achieve perfect harmony, mostly due to your Darkness making you a tad bit malleable, and retain your current appearance.

• Your other selves merged their wills with yourself, permanently. Don't worry about it causing problems, you can access the info of the AUs your other selves came from quite easily due to your VOID nature.

• If you choose to reincarnate into a character from the option below, you won't amalgamate with that character's other selves… Only your other selves. Other versions of you before you take this Essence.

• Optionally, due to your existence, an equalizer is made. A SOUL filled with DETERMINATION has manifested somewhere around the setting you are currently in, and they are inside a Vessel. The SOUL has the power to stop your Roaring, should you desire to go for it. You may befriend them, and they may even help you start the Roaring. But be warned, the SOUL has a mind of its own, and the Vessel is forced to help it. You will never know peace if you’ve decided to end it all.

• You may take any characters from Undertale and Deltarune, whether canon or fanon is up to you. You may even take characters from the AUs as well.

• If you take the character from a so-called hellish state (ex. Error!Character), they will become somewhat normalized in appearance and can revert back, if they wish so.

• You have a one-use Setting Travel Ticket that you can activate to travel to Undertale, Deltarune, or their AUs. Whether canon or fanon, it is up to you. Anyone who notices you will promptly freak out if they are aware of the Dark Worlds.

• You may reincarnate as a character in Undertale, Deltarune, or any of their AUs. Doing so will bring chaos to the timeline as you have effectively become that character and their SOUL being contaminated by the throes of the Deepest Dark of what you have become.

• This counts as you assimilating their SOUL.

• If you have the Essence of Everhood, you will be able to transform into a Dark Being more easily, and the cooldown is halved.

• If you have the Essence of the KING OMEGA, you will own a dimension similar to the Omega Timeline that CORE!Frisk has.

• This Essence, and all its aspects, can’t be erased, forcibly changed, removed, or stolen. Doing so would probably make you counter the attempt, instantly Swooning them.
