Essence of theOne Who Screams at the Patterns Already There

Imbibing this impossible Essence that shouldn’t exist, you felt a jarring feeling of being on the moon.

• I would say something like appearance sculpt here but your form doesn’t exist. You can be anyone or anything and no one will stop you. This is a curse very much in and of itself. Who are you really? What are you?

• You have become something. Something grander. But you lost it at some point due to the PATTERN and mutated into something unknown to mortal comprehension. You are a living impossibility. Whatever you are now. You adapted to the PATTERN and in turn… You became something more than what you were back then.

• As a living paradox of existence and nonexistence, you are neither alive nor dead.

• Due to your nature, you are a living cognitohazard. You are harmful to anyone who sees you. They may or may not become driven to insanity or a self-destructive cycle. They might be obsessed with being the only ones who can know your existence and might kill others who know you exist.

• You’ve eroded Narrativity to the point it cannot comprehend you. Knowledge of your existence will empower you. Even if that knowledge is erased, the empowerment is permanent. Its increase is exponential. You won’t be able to fight Occultic Phantasmagorica at first, but soon enough, you can challenge them.

• Vague knowledge about you only slightly boosts your overall capabilities.

• If the knowledge is tried to comprehend, actually to try to know and understand your existence, it will provide a reasonably large boost.

• If they look at you in their field of view, you’ll find huge boosts accompanying in such cases… but are you willing to drive some insane just for power?

• Powers, or powers that may be, are afraid of what you are. Whatever domains, or… actual powers, they have are ebbing away at your mere presence.

• You can SCREAM at the PATTERN. Each time you do so, its hold lessens and reality bends to your will.

• You don’t just manipulate reality, you EAT REALITY itself. The damage you cause makes Reality warp itself into what you desire the most.

• You can contaminate EXISTENCE and convert what you have contaminated into PATTERN SCREAMERS like you. However, for some reason, you are the only mind in there. Sentient beings will have their concept of self eroded when you contaminate them.

• You can contaminate technology with your NONEXISTENCE, making them into anomalous artifacts.

• Should you manage to master this aspect, you’ll be able to contaminate instances of EXISTENCE into loyal PATTERN SCREAMERS, with you at the head of the “hivemind”. They won’t be as powerful as you, but they are extremely powerful to the point they curb stomp nearly everything in a setting.

• Every single being that exists will regard you as something that they cannot define in the most horrifying way possible. Analog Horrors would try to run away from you. Beings of Fear will know to fear you as if they have lost control over their powers. Heroes would regard you as something worse than the most despicable villain that they have ever faced.

• For the sake of not driving everyone to run away from you always, you may toggle this aspect on or off.

• You can travel anywhere. You don’t have a limitation on where you can go.

• Even in Cyberspace.

• This Essence, by definition, does not exist. It can’t be erased, forcibly changed, removed, or stolen. Doing so will do nothing. Trying to do so will do nothing.

• This Essence is a Singularity, it can’t be copied even by other Essences.
