AI summary
Turns you into a Strider, a cybernetically augmented ninja whose nanite augmentation is seamless and scales with your overall prowess, granting greatly enhanced durability, speed and strength, true ninja skill rather than the Hollywood kind, and stealth good enough to unnerve people who watched you walk in. You can summon a plasma bird construct to cross large distances, hold endurance and willpower enough to kill your fallen sibling and stay sane, and have no biological needs. The nanites also unlock your psychic potential without limits — generating psychic energy rivalling Strider Hiryu and the Grandmaster and usable to augment your gear — and halt your ageing entirely, so two thousand years leave you as spry as a teenager, along with a title of your own choosing.

Description
Picking up this worn-out red scarf and wearing it, it exploded into a cloud of nanites with electricity arcing around it. Then the energy hit you as the cloud of nanites made their way to you and slowly let themselves into your body. Oh, and it is a very painful process as you are about to become something greater. You might even fall unconscious in the process.
Effects
45You have gained a single-use Appearance Change Ticket. This is placed in your pocket, should you fall unconscious in the process of this Essence changing you. This ticket will change you retroactively.
You have become something greater than what you are now, someone who has achieved the impossible through cybernetic augmentations. You are now a Strider, a ninja who augmented themselves with the technology of the future.
Much like the infamous Strider Hiryu, you are a very skilled individual in the ways of the ninja. You know the arts of being a True Ninja and not the ones that Hollywood showed to the world, meaning you know how to fucking hide in plain sight by donning casual clothes and not show up like some cosplaying idiot who got lost at a convention.
You have all the abilities and skills of being similar to the ninjas of old.
You can summon a bird-like construct made out of plasma energy to help you traverse large areas.
Your stealth skill is incredibly good to the point that people would freak out if you suddenly show up in the room after casually entering it from the door and just standing there.
The cybernetic augmentation appears to be seamless, making you not change that much outwardly.
Your endurance and willpower are immense to the point that you can go and kill your sibling who went wrong and still be sane.
Your durability, speed, and strength are augmented by the cybernetic augmentation placed upon you by the nanites. These augments scale to your overall prowess and your own power.
The nanites also unlocked your psychic potential and removed its limits. You won’t be able to do some truly psychic things any time soon, but the psychic energy you generate can be used to augment your items.
You generate enough psychic energy to rival Strider Hiryu and the Grandmaster, and at some point, you may even surpass them.
Due to your augmentations, you don’t have any biological needs. You may partake in them, but you no longer need to do so.
You can effectively live forever as the augmentations stopped your aging completely to the point you can live for 2000 years and still be as spry as a young teenager.
You also have a title similar to Strider Hiryu. Whether that is the same title as him or not is up to you.
Much like the Grandmaster who once had the entire world in his grasp, you have the potential to become intelligent enough to figure out the secret of creating life through scientific means and gain vast powers that seem magical at first but actually warp reality through one’s own will.
You are not there at the Grandmaster Meio’s level yet, as you need 2'000 years just to be at his level at the bare minimum, and even then, you need to become smart enough to figure out how to create life. So far, you don’t have the means for the latter as the Earth of the Strider Setting is different from the other Earths.
The powers bestowed by this aspect seem to be similar to what you can do with the psychic energy you have gained.
Strangely enough, the Concepts of Destiny and Fate seem to stop working around you, as if they are waiting to see what will happen next. This allows you to fight a very powerful individual, might be the literal creator of the universe, as an equal. Depending on how skilled you are, this might be a hard fight or just another Tuesday for you.
You have learned the means to convert people into Striders but you currently lack the equipment and the materials to do so. Even having the base option below wouldn’t make the cut as you need to find people and get materials or the resources somewhere.
Much like the ninjas of old, a Strider has their own equipment, and you have your own. These tools scale to your overall skill.
You have an armored rubber garb that is very durable and allows freedom of movement despite its look. It has the kanji for the word Strider placed as an emblem on its chest plate. It also self-cleans on its own. The armored ninja garb repairs itself should it be damaged and gains some slight resistance to the type of damage that damaged it. This armored garb scales to your durability and strength.
The armored rubber garb has a pair of boots that is augmented with Plasma Capacitors to allow it to magnetically attach to surfaces and allow you to slide. It also has the special effects of nullifying fall damage and allowing you to walk on water; the latter effect is toggleable.
The gauntlets have extra Plasma Capacitors to allow you to enhance your items by charging them with plasma energy.
The Plasma Capacitors are charged up by excess psychic energy that you produce to be converted into plasma energy.
The armored rubber garb has a vent near the neck area that will vent excess plasma energy, forming a scarf made out of pure plasma energy. Unlike a normal plasma scarf that seems to not do anything other than leave a cool trail when moving around, your plasma scarf is likened to a hard-light. Not only that but the plasma scarf you have has the same properties as your Cypher as stated below.
You have several utility tools to help you traverse areas. There are several of them, but two are commonly used by Striders for traveling in large areas. A Climb-Sickle for ascending tall areas and a Glider to fly lengthy distances.
A metallic belt to store your utilities in its storage compartments and your weapons by magnetically attaching them to its body.
You also have a Varja, a short-range teleportation device. It is thought activated and can be used consecutively should you have enough plasma energy.
You have a Cypher, a weapon with a plasma blade. However, unlike the Cyphers of the other Striders, your Cypher is modular and capable of changing shape like the Geometric Cypher. The default shape of your Cypher is the “Falchion” configuration that Strider Hiryu often uses.
Your Cypher uses your psychic power to produce plasma energy to cut through anything with its edge. It is often accompanied by smaller plasma energy slashes. Despite this, however, it needs a Plasma Capacitor to use the variety of powers that an ordinary Cypher has.
The Cypher's Plasma Capacitor is charged up by the excess psychic energy you used in the Cypher. If the Plasma Capacitor is destroyed, either through damage or overuse, you can always grab one of the Plasma Capacitors in your gauntlets and place it in the Cypher or create another one if you have the materials.
The Plasma Capacitors of the Cypher, due to its weapon nature, only have a maximum ten charges as the rest are used to fuel its plasma blade.
The plasma energy, despite its name, is actually malleable through psychic energy and not always an actual plasma. It is capable of “exploding” itself to become extremely hot or freeze anything it hits if you desire, so long as it has enough charges in a Plasma Capacitor.
The Cypher can release an electromagnetic field to deflect projectiles or release a magnetic field to unleash projectile slashes that will boomerang back to you.
You can use up a charge of the Plasma Capacitor to activate the Boost Mode of the Cypher for 8 seconds, but you can extend its duration by using up another Plasma Capacitor charge. During Boost Mode, each swing of the Cypher will unleash homing plasma waves that will track and home in on any enemy in the area.
Continuous overuse of the Boost Mode will break the Cypher's Plasma Capacitor. So be careful.
You have Options, mechanical life forms that you can summon to help you. They vary from what their intended usage, ranging from a pair of orbs that will generate shields and shoot laser beams to robotic tigers to a mechanical dragon. Whenever you summon one of them, they will appear in a rift near you.
If you choose to have a base from the option below, you will gain the means to make more Options.
Optionally, you have a base similar to the Grandmaster’s moon-sized base and the Striders’ Headquarters. The base is heavily fortified and has numerous defenses to the point that the only way to blindside it is to be one of the people living there. But even then, the rudimentary Artificial Intelligences will correct that mistake after a short while.
The base is fully mobile and has different amenities for countless people to comfortably live in.
It has a large R&D Section for upgrading tools and whatnot. It's already stocked with some materials, enough to jumpstart the Strider Organization in a Setting.
Optionally, you can have a character from the Setting of Strider as your companion. They will not appear immediately but they will find a way to get to your location, whether or not it involves Grandmaster Meio fuckery is up to the Author.
Optionally, you have a single-use Setting Ticket that you can use to go to the Earth of the Strider Franchise or any Setting made by Capcom.
This Essence, and everything it gives, can’t be erased, forcibly changed, removed, or stolen.
Note: Hiryu is a legacy name. The first Hiryu, Zeku from the Street Fighter series, set forth to make the organization. If you somehow find yourself in that Setting, you may introduce yourself as someone that his teachings have taught in the far-flung future and merely went back in time just to see what the First Strider looks like as their image has been lost due to the passage of time. Whether or not you help him build the Strider Organization for real is up to you.
