Essence of theX Belief System

Drinking from this soda styled with the letter X on its print, you felt an indescribable feeling. Like you can be the most powerful Hero or the most despicable Villain…

• One-time appearance change. This is your default form, or rather your civilian form. It is inconsequential in the long term. After all… Everyone can be a Hero/Villain.

• You are now considered “peak human” in every sense and word. You are now considered an Olympic Athlete. Your agility and endurance are proportionally increased to ensure you can take a punch and walk without any bruises.

• Oh my. It appears this Essence has granted you the power to use Conceptual Belief as a form of energy that you can use for your purposes. This Belief can come in different “Flavors”, but Trust and Fear are two of the most powerful forms that this Belief can take. These two are the “umami” of all beliefs.

• The more Belief you gain, the more it changes you. Perhaps, this Belief may even grant you powers unlike any other. This aspect of the Essence won’t affect you to the point of detriment.

• The Belief you obtain won’t be shared to others without your own volition. People who try to emulate you will not be as powerful as you.

• In the form of Trust, Belief takes the form of vibrant colors. Belief is more like energy in this form.

• In the form of Fear, Belief is a dark, liquid-like substance that seems to always be in 2D.

• By crystallizing this Belief, you are able to form thematic powers. These powers tend to be the ones you need the most, with a Hero/Villain form that would hopefully disguise you from nosy people.

• There is something more powerful than both Trust and Fear combined. The Conceptual State of Belief known only as FAITH. Reaching this state requires you to combine both Trust and Fear to the point of not causing imbalance to one and the other. However, the two states of Belief actively and openly repulse each other. By doing this impossibility, you will be clad in every single colors known and unknown to all. As if an Iridescent Something is giving you the power to make reality accept a new fact, that you have the power to create miracles and defy fate itself.

• The FAITH not only allows you to create a miracle, but it also grants you the power to damage the Belief of Others. Attacking someone who has their powers sourced through Belief would be a death sentence against you as they will be depowered upon contact.

• Using FAITH is a very extraneous process to the point that once you get out of your FAITH state, you will lose a lot of stamina and your accumulated Belief will be reduced nearly to 1% of its value.

• Much like Big Johnny, you are heavily resistant from being affected by the powers caused by the Belief of Others. Only Belief of immense magnitudes can affect you much like what Queen did to a certain event.

• For some reason, the powers granted by this Essence take priority against all powers in the Setting you are in. Only an Essence or things that aren’t from the local setting can contend with your might… Such as an alien who crash lands into the Setting you are located in.

• Fanwank responsibly… no seriously, fanwank responsibly. The series that this Essence is based upon isn’t completed yet.

• Oh, and I almost forgot… Hail to the X , the One who Never Bleeds!! ⦗⟭.

• This Essence, and by extension the powers it grants, can’t be erased, forcibly changed, removed, or stolen. Doing so will instead depower the attemptee and give you a weak version of their power that can grow in strength to the original, and may even surpass the original.
