By imbibing this Essence (based on The Other World Doesn't Stand a Chance Against the Power of Instant Death), you gain the following benefits:

• You are The End of All Things, the untouchable horror destined at the termination of all journeys which nothing could ever hope to surpass.

• The first thing you must realize is that your ability does not strictly follow logic. It is unbound by fate and causality. It just IS.

• Your mortal shell is only a vessel for the abstract existence that suffuses all layers of reality and sits above them all. Damage done to any mortal existence of you (i.e. for which "death" or "finality" remotely means anything) does not really harm you as it is just a means for you to interact with reality. If your mortal self ever somehow dies, you can simply have a new one be born into the world.

• You wield the power of Instant Death. With a mere thought you can kill anything regardless of its scale or quality, causing instant and permanent cessation without any apparent damage. The source series takes great pains to spell out the futility of coming into direct conflict with this power and its owner.

• Nothing can prevent, resist, or reverse this in any way. Something that is technically already dead, "beyond" life and death, or even does not have the concept of death will be affected all the same. Infinitely regenerating or reviving targets will meet their final end despite their nature. Immortal beings outside space and time which eat entire universes (all timelines from start to finish included) will still die at the time you designate, even in their native timeless void. The omnipotent god of the multiverse, who is several layers of "omnipotent" above indomitable creator deities, will die just as easily as the weakest ant. You can even reach the metafictional level, such as killing the Q&A section by the actual author writing your own story.

• As the End itself, you decide what death is. You may declare what this power can apply to and what its dead state looks like.

  • You may decide that zombies (technically already dead by most definitions) are alive enough since "they are moving around and stuff".

  • You may float by destroying gravity in an area, or break your fall my temporarily killing your momentum.

  • If you conceive of an electronic door's purpose as to keep you out, then once it is "dead" it will allow you to cross the entrance.

  • You may disable someone by killing their legs while leaving the rest fine.

  • Killing a computer program could mean no one can run it ever again anywhere.

  • You may disinfect items by selectively killing all harmful bacteria on it, even if you do not know which those are or anything about medicine/biology.

  • You may assign a delay to the death to give your target time to do something, so long as they eventually die.

  • You may target things you yourself have no knowledge of, but through someone else's memories as a medium. You may even kill everything that a person has even seen, even if they do not remember them all.

  • You may kill an entire chain of command by following the chain of killing intent to its original source. This works even if the master and subordinate do not know each other. The master will even still die if they do not remember the order, or if a middle manager was who actually made the call.

• You are able to instantly know about any potential harm or killing intent directed at you (or anyone you mark) regardless of level or distance. You will never be overwhelmed by this and can also filter through it easily. This does not need to only include deadly threats, but anything your conceive of as harm. This pierces all attempts to hide, including super science, magic, or divinely sourced stealth. You have a complete and comprehensive understanding of all the threats, so you will never have false positives or misunderstandings. Even mere contingency plans or vague thoughts of "can I take him" will be logged.

• You can have triggered defences which will automatically intercept any incoming threats, though never inadvertently harming those you do not want to. The exact manifestation will always resolve as if you had fully thought it through with all the information before you.

• Only the results of your power can be detected. Any attempt to discern a mechanism will fail and magical attempts to read your "stat sheet" will not show this power if you do not it to.

• Your existence is protected by fate itself. Every destination and possibility leads to your ultimate victory and safety.

• You possess nigh omniscience. You could peer into minds, across time, over any distance, and any higher/alternate dimensions with ease. Information overload, memetic hazards, and the like are things for lower beings to worry about.

• You are able to manipulate the higher dimensional Abyss, which has 4 space + 1 time dimension(s), at will. After all, such a paltry set of dimensions is only a tiny fraction of what you truly inhabit.
