Essence ofMisogyny/Misandry

By imbibing this essence, you gain the following:

• Choose either males or females. You are now completely indomitable in direct conflicts with your chosen side. A fight will effortlessly resolve in your victory, even if you are naked and they have a hundred automatic machine guns trained on you. How you succeed in each case is up to you. Does their equipment mysterious fail at just the right time? Do their weapons just bounce off you without any effect? Are you just immune to any poisons they use? No matter what tactics or force multipliers involved, the universe just enforces a simple end result "You cannot lose to them, you are just better".

• This also works outside of combat. A coin flip against a man if you chose males will always land to your benefit. Blackjack against a woman dealer if you chose females will always see you winning handsomely. Businesses you run will always overall do better than those run by your chosen side. For ambiguous or non-zero sum situations like economics, you can choose if this Essence forces their performance down or simply elevates you above however they were doing without interference. You could suddenly find yourself rising to the occasion (temporarily gaining physical abilities, intellect, skill, or knowledge), your opponent might be nerfed, or some combination of the two.

• This can even work retroactively. If you do a test and later on it is compared to results of your chosen side, then you will find that you had always done better than them. You might suddenly find yourself boosted, even if you were not competing against your chosen side in that single moment.

• This does not work on the side you did not choose, but will curse mixed opposition with negative fortune and apathy the more of your chosen side is involved with actions opposed to your own. Furthermore, attempts by your chosen side to reach outside help will be thwarted. That help must stumble upon something that causes them to investigate or already proactively be searching for trouble.

• If you say you are better than any member of your chosen side, everyone will implicitly understand that to be the truth. They might protest out of politeness or social norms, but deep in their hearts they know it to be true. If you yourself are part of that chosen group, you will be seen as the "Alpha" or "Gigachad" of the entire group.

• This Essence does not affect interactions that do not involve you in some way.
