Description
Appearance: In it's appearance, the Multiversal Omnitool Essence looks like a slender blue vial sealed with a cork that resembles a Wrench-, that when shaken seems to contain shifting motes of light that seem to change as you look at them.

2Taste: The Multiversal Omnitool tastes like cold coffee and the satisfaction you have you when you have the perfect tool for the job at hand without having to root around in your toolbox that you inevitably either left in the boot of your car out in the pouring rain, or back at the office.
Abilities: Unlike the Omnigear to which you might be forgiven for thinking it's directly related, the ShifterTool begins life as a Scanner-tailored to the kind of thing you would be most familiar with. A RWBY user might see something from Atlas, Someone from Star Trek might see a Tricorder and so on. It's primary function however doesn't become apparent until you scan some form of tool. Visually, when you scan any form of tool , the ShifterTool becomes capable of becoming the tool you scanned-and is retroactive in it's capability-meaning any tool you've used in the past will be available for you to use as if you had already scanned it . This is vaguely reminiscent of Miss Militia's power shifting to become guns-though the ShifterTool is restricted to Tools ONLY. That is to say anything specifically designed and intended as a weapon cannot be scanned. As ever, fanwank responsibly. For example, you could scan an Omni-Tool from Mass Effect, but wouldn't get the Melee capability (But there's nothing to stop you manifesting a hammer, wrench etc and going ham on some poor son of a bitch) It's capacity to store and remember tools is limitless, with an option for a thought-based user system that removes the need for you to 'sort' through your tools.

Your Mind, Body and Soul are maintained at the peak of your race-meaning you cannot be manipulated physically, mentally or spiritually in any way whatsoever without your explicit consent and approval.
You can class food and water as 'tools' if you wish. Though it will not class luxury's such as Booze and high quality good as tools, but canteens and MRE's are valid choices. If in doubt a 'tool' is something you need to survive or fulfill a task.
Fictional Tools from comics, anime-cartoons or computer games may be scanned with the limitations as stated earlier. (If you don't feel like doing the work to locate the tools IRL- you do you).
The Personality of your ShifterTool is yours to design. Jarvis? Friday? Cortana? Go for it-they are completely loyal to you and possess the same immunities to manipulation, interference hacking etc that you do.
