Essence of theGrand Sacrificer

By drinking this liquid that reminds you of the pain of loss and soul deep emptiness, you become the Grand Sacrificer. This has given you many boons:

• Your body, soul and mind have been reshaped into something better, something more.

• You'll be just above the absolute physical peak of whatever species you belong to, able to outperform anybody else of your species in the world.

• Your mind will be protected against any form of control or manipulations, with nobody being able to read your thoughts or memories.

• Your soul is similarly protected against tampering, and while you are not given outright immortality, your soul has been made inviolable. As long as you're able to think and act through your soul, death would become just another state of existence for you.

• You wouldn't be much of a Grand Sacrificer if you didn't have the ability to make sacrifices, now would you?

• You have the supernatural ability to make connections to different Being/Concept/Place. You can only make connections to the ones who are currently in the multiverse you're in, or in a multiverse you've already been to. So no connecting to the Traveller without ever going to the Destiny universe.

• This connection allows you to offer up anything to the connected Being/Concept/Place in exchange for gifts from them. The things you sacrifice can be anything tangible or intangible like money, artifacts, your lifespan, talent, etc. You can also offer anything that is remotely in your possession for the time being. For instance, if you're holding someone prisoner, you can sacrifice that person, but can also sacrifice their lifespan or memory too, even though you don't realistically possess those things.

• You will always receive something of equivalent value every time you manage to successfully sacrifice something. The value of your sacrifice is calculated based on many factors such as how hard it was to acquire the sacrifice, the intrinsic value the sacrifice holds and how much the one you're sacrificing it to values it.

• Now, just because you offer something up for sacrifice doesn't mean the sacrifice will succeed. A sacrifice can fail if the one you're sacrificing to either doesn't accept the sacrifice or can't actually come up with something of equivalent value. Even if the sacrifice fails, you can still send the thing you're sacrificing through, basically using the Essence as a delivery service, though don't expect anything in return.

• The connection you form are absolutely secure, no one can hijack the connection or use it to find you, including the one you're connected to, that is, unless you want them to know for some odd reason.

• As a beginner's tip of sorts, you can always make sacrifices to yourself in an infinitely distant future in exchange for a part of their power that you can use as potential for growing your own power.

• This Essence and all it's powers are inviolable. They cannot be manipulated, copied, stolen or affected in anyway. Again, that is, unless you decide to offer up any parts of this Essence up as a sacrifice.
