Description
By drinking this metallic smelling and tasting essence you gain access to the metal based magics from the world of scadrial.
Effects
21. Allomancy : This is a type of magic where you ingest metal and use it to fuel some supernatural effect. Normally, the metal acts as a conduit for the power of preservation (who is a god from the planet of scadrial), but in your case you draw power from the spiritual body of the metal you have ingested, thereby digesting the metal in question, at which point you have to use some more of the metal to sustain the effect (so, basically you're eating metal and gaining super powers from it, like how you eat food and gain energy).
There are 16 allomantic metals people normally use in scadrial and most people can't burn (the term normally used for the process) all the metals and instead can burn one or two metals, but you can burn all 16, which makes you a mistborn. People who can burn one or two metals are called mistings.
PowersThe powers granted by metals when burnt are as follows:
Steel - pushes nearby metals.
Iron - pulls nearby metals.
Pewter - Increases physical abilities.
Tin - Increases senses.
Zinc - Enflames emotions in nearby people.
Brass - Dampens emotions in nearby people.
Copper - Creates a metaphorical cloud around you that hides usage of allomancy (Can be used to hide usage of other magics, since essence).
Bronze - Lets you find direction and usage of allomancy/magic. It manifests in the form of drumbeats only you can hear and the sound increases the closer you are.
Duralumin - When burnt along with another metal, this increases the speed at which you burn it, leading to a huge increase in the amount of power you can access.
Aluminum - Burning aluminum instantly metabolizes all the metals you've consumed, without any other effect.
Nicrosil - when you burn nicrosil and touch someone else, their metal reserves disappear completely, but they get a huge increase in the amount of power they usually get by burning that metal. You can also use this to improve the power of spells or other supernatural powers your target is using, but their mana reserves or other similar things (stamina, etc) will be completely spent. (There won't be side effects to their health though).
Chromium - Burning chromium and touching a target causes all their allomantic reserves to disappear without giving them any power in return. You can use this to drain someone's mana, chi, etc; The drained power dissolves into the surroundings without any problem.
Gold - By burning gold you can see a hallucination of how you could have been in the past, if you have taken different choices. A person who can burn gold can create essence marks for themselves very quickly if they know the magic of forging (from sel, a different world on cosmere).
Electrum - Shows you possible futures for you in the form of hallucinations of yourself, this power lasts for several seconds unless you keep burning it.
Cadmium - Slows down time in a bubble centered around yourself.
Bendalloy - Speeds up time in a bubble centered around yourself.
Apart from these 16 metals there are god metals, god metal is a metal made out of a god's power, so it gives you some ability specific to their nature or the magic they've created.
You can also burn any unique or exotic metal native to a setting to gain a power based on the metal in question or something that you think might be plausible for that metal. (So things like vibranium, adamantium, uru, mithril, etc; give you some power).
Known god metals from scadrial are atium and lerasium.
Atium - Shows the future of everything in your sight by creating moving illusions of them for a few seconds.
Lerasium - permanently turns someone into a mistborn of undiluted power. Normally allomantic powers are inherited genetically, so a person's power is lesser than their ancestors, lerasium gives you power on par with original mistborn or if you're a mistborn, it increases your power to that level.
Normally, you need to ingest the metal and burn it in your stomach to use the power associated with the metal, but in your case, your stomach is connected to metaphysical containers of the metals and can draw the metals directly into your stomach, the channel between the containers and your stomach can't be seen or manipulated by others, the containers have enough metal to let you use them in combat for a full 24 hours and any metal you use will start being replenished as soon as you start using them, the rate of replenishment is based on how common the metal is, so the normal 16 will be replenished almost immediately after you use them, whereas rarer metals like God metals and similar exotic stuff will replenish slowly. Any new metal you ingest will result in you developing a new container to draw from.
The containers are connected to dead end timelines or worlds undergoing an apocalypse or are post apocalyptic dead lands, so you don't have to worry about stealing from someone else.
At anytime you can will the metal from the containers into your hand. Any person you turn into a mistborn will gain containers of their own.
