Essence of therulebook

By drinking this essence you find yourself the owner of a rulebook. An item of unlimited power thats mostly used for lewd reasons for some reason.

• There are two types of rulebooks, single person targetting (hereby referred to as version P) and setting targetting(hereby referred as version S).

• When you use version P, you pick someone and write an alternate history for them. Reality shifts retroactively so that everyone except yourself will believe that the alternate version is the truth.

• Normally, if a person sees their alternate history on the rule book, it results in two different possibilities, either the new version becomes truth or they revert back to how they were originally. Your version of the rulebook can't be seen by anyone except yourself, but you can optionally make it so people can see it and it select whether they revert back or stay as they are.

• When you use version S, you make broad changes to the world or setting by changing the physical, metaphysical or behavioural rules of the world or even an organisation.

• The changes come in two variations, old rules and new rules.If you change something and title it as an old rule, then everyone else will believe that things have been functioning in the same way for a long time and history will be retroactively changed based on the change.

• If you title something as a new rule, then the change happens as soon as you stop writing, everyone would accept the change but there would be some fallout based on the change in question and people's acceptance of the rule might take some time. The rulebook is invisible to everyone else, optionally you may make it so people can see it and ponder why you are writing facts everyone knows on a completely normal book. (You may revoke this and make it so anyone else can use it, if you want a challenge or spend your life as someone else's plaything).
