Essence of theScion

By drinking this shining Essence, you've become a Scion, a descendant of a god. Right now you're not as strong as a demigod but you're stronger than any mortal, you're at a peak human physique and can temporarily boost yourself by consuming your inherent legend pool (legend is the mana stat).

• Your legend is a small spark now, capable of letting you perform small miracles linked to your divine ancestor's godly purviews. You can increase your legend by gaining renown and doing legendary things.

• Each god has 3 epic attributes and 6 purviews. Epic attributes are supernatural expressions of the deity's physical and mental power. There are 9 attributes, Strength, Dexterity, Stamina, Charisma, Manipulation, Appearance, Intelligence, Perception and Wits.

• Strength is self explanatory, dexterity is your speed, Stamina is your endurance and the ability to take hits (physical or elemental attacks, poisons, etc) and continue moving.

• Charisma is your social grace and strength of personality, Appearance is your looks, Manipulation is your ability to manipulate and persuade people.

• Intelligence is self explanatory, Perception is your awareness of surroundings and people, Wits is your ability to think on your feet and adapt to situations.

• While all attributes can be improved by you getting used to your powers and increasing your legend (if you increase it to a certain level, you become a demigod and if you improve it even beyond that, you're a god), a scion can find it easier to improve the attributes their parents have as epic attributes. A deity with epic strength can lift and throw the empire state building over the horizon and catch it once it completes its rotation around the earth while a deity with epic appearance is so beautiful or so ugly that people's brains literally stop working after seeing them. Deities can tone down their powers if they want.

• Purviews are the divine domains of a deity and grant you access to miracles you can cast that are related to the domain. Each deity has 7 purviews, 6 common purviews and 1 pantheon specific purview that is shared by all the deities of a pantheon. As a child of a deity, you're automatically linked to their purviews. You have free form manipulation powers over these purviews but you're mostly limited by your power. If you're a god, you can temporarily become an avatar of this purview and do things like heal and entire continent's people or create incurable diseases that can affect even the mightiest of titans.

• While all Scions have a divine parent, there are cases where a Scion is adopted by another deity. You can optionally pick another deity to gain access to their purviews too and up to three more epic attributes, you can more easily gain and improve.

• Since you're gaining these powers via an Essence, you can make it so the world you're in or are going to, doesn't have Scion style gods and titans as long as you aren't visiting the Scion verse.

• Optionally, you can give these same Scion powers to five other people. They can't gain the extra powers you've gained via adoption.
