Description
A potion bottle that is filled with a purple vial that, upon drinking, makes you feel an overwhelming feeling of confidence in your ability to overcome all problems in your path, regardless of what they might be.
Effects
18Name: The first thing you see on your Status Screen. Your name, or more like what you are more commonly known as to the population. This can be a fake name or your real name, the name that you introduce yourself as to the general public.
Title: Kind of similar to a name, a title is only different that it is longer and says what people think of you as. It might be 'XXX's Son' or 'Protector of Gotham', or 'Willy The Clown', or even 'That one guy who puked all over Sandra's dress at prom'. It changes depending on what people would say to remind themselves and others of you.
True Name: Is your REAL name. It encompasses all you are. It is much more than a name or title, just looking upon it is enough for you to see yourself as you are. Meditating upon it brings enlightenment towards who you truly are as a being. Don't go writing it down just wily nilly, as it has strong connection to you and can be used in many a rituals and voodoo magics to affect you indirectly. You can use this to affect yourself too, such as writing 'True Name has talent with a guitar' to get a minor boost.
Level: Unlike the traditional game systems Level is a far different thing here. It is a metaphysical statement of your 'level'. It shows your experience in life, in battle, and in general. With a higher Level you might suddenly remember a falling hazard on a path you walked by before, and since you are being chased on that road you can lead your pursuer towards that hazard and they will be far more likely to fall to it than not. This isn't absolute, if someone has a higher Level then this will work inversely, so don't try to fight Batman without years of crime fighting, training, and traveling the world. Depending on your experiences your Level's effects will be different, a traveler would find their travels becoming easier and the road kinder to them, while a construction worker would find their need for complex tools becoming lesser and lesser, and a driver would find themselves anticipating how other cars would move before they ever start driving and make stunts most would call supernatural. It takes time to grow. Upon reaching level 100 you will be given the option to prestige, which will solidify your memetic capabilities and allow you to grow new ones.
Race: Kind of like True Name it shows what you classify as. You will likely start out as Human but as you increase your stats you will change to Chi/Ki User Human(Life Force), Mystic Human(Soul Force), Psychic Human(Mind Force), Elf(Life Force, Soul Force, and Psychic Force), and more. Rather than doing or giving anything this stat is here to show you what you are, without needing to meditate on your True Name.
Alignment: Your attitude towards the greater world around you and how it affects your aura. A person who goes around foiling villains' plans might be Chaotic Evil because they don't want others to succeed or they might be Lawful Good because the villains' plans disturbs their city's peace. Depending on where you stand on the Lawful-Chaotic sides you will get different benefits. A Lawful gamer will find themselves getting along better with other orderly people, those who are searching for someone to depend on, and have a much easier time controlling their emotions and supernatural energies. As a drawback a Lawful gamer is much more predictable and can be found to be bland or boring by those around them. A Chaotic gamer on the other hand will feel unpredictable, exciting, and intimidating. As a drawback their supernatural energies will be harder to control and their emotions will be more intense. A Good alignment would make the gamer like a Disney princess, being good with animals, attracting good people, chancing upon bad guys doing bad things to save damsels, defensive and healing type of 'good' magics becoming easier to them, and more. The drawback of a Good alignment would be attacking power, it would be greatly diminished normally however should the target of their ire be someone they consider 'evil' their strength would be boosted, greater the evil greater the attacking power. An Evil alignment would make the gamer more like a villain, finding their targets' weak spots, being far stronger all around, finding minions easier, and all that good stuff you would expect an Evil character in a movie to be good at. Their drawback is slower affection gains, harder time with 'good' aligned magics, and a slightly lower defensive ability. True Natural alignment is default, it grants no benefits or drawbacks besides easier reputation gain with those of similar alignment, you start out in this alignment.
Tier: This stat signifies the gamer's destruction capacity. It updates according to the largest act of destruction the gamer has done, and enhances the effectiveness of the other stats. When up against those with a higher Tier, the enhancement this stat offers is nullified.
Rank: This stat is kind of like an achievement stat, the more you kill, and that is kill not defeat or knock out, the more you will rank up. Depending on your rank you will get a multitude of benefits.
Job: The brother of Level. Picking a Job will focus your capabilities better into the areas the Job relates to, and upon reaching 100 on your Job you will gain a single related skill that grows more and more ridiculous with each level, until at 100 it transforms into a Divine Domain.
Personality: The charisma stat that cannot be raised with Stat Points and is shown by a gauge that goes over 100 percentage from time to time. You will project an aura around you that grows stronger the stronger you are and the more openly you act. The more intense your emotions are the more pressure this will put on the surroundings, and the more you suppress your feelings the lower it will be. When stronger this stat can be used to raise maddened mobs out of the most meek and peaceful, with only a few words this stat can shift a person's mindset, or make the most insane psychopath empathize with the gamer's point of view.
Willpower: The stat that isn't really a stat, more like solidified milestones, and also the only stat that can rise without Stat Points. As you live your life you will make decisions, exert your willpower to do or not do certain things, and these will cause your Willpower to rise, normally the rise would be followed with a fall but because this is a stat the highs will crystallize and lows will be washed off. That will cause your willpower to grow over time passively, growing faster the more you exert your Will. This stat is also the control stat for, well, everything. You can use it to control your supernatural energies, emotions, presence, and more. The higher this stat is the finer your control will be.
Awareness: Enhancement to the gamer's senses and ability to discern relevant information from them, such as picking apart a single conversation in the middle of a crowded street, and the first stat that accepts Stat Points. The higher you raise it the closer to supernatural your senses will be until you reach 100. Then you will be given the option to evolve this stat to Insight, which is basically the Eureka stat. Insight will let you connect dots that are barely there and understand the larger picture, such as looking at a few car parts and intuitively understanding where they should go. At 100 Insight this stat will evolve again into Clairvoyance, the ability to gain information from nothing, whether by connecting to Akasha or timeline itself or something else, this lets you reach all knowledge there is in any way possible, and retrieve the intelligence you seek. You only need to not delve deeper than your Willpower allows, and lose yourself in the knowledge.
Soul Force: Spiritual Energy, the origin of all magic. The purest form of magic, imagine it and it will happen, basically reality manipulation with a cost, however you will need to study for a very long time, on the range of multiple millennia, to get anywhere truly insane. At the start it is only good for passively supplementing your other stats, utilizing the local branch of magic, and getting you attuned to the more spiritual stuff. Also makes spiritual stuff get attracted to you as a consequence of being the origin of all magic. The higher it is the easier it will be for you to learn and utilize magic in all its forms. Once you reach 10, you will gain the option to concentrate your Soul Force, unlocking Soul Force Density stat, which will form a barrier around your being that will protect you against more esoteric abilities and if the barrier is breached will fight against the magic tooth and nail. Higher density will allow you to use less SF for more. Only regenerates through sleeping.
Life Force: Life Energy, the origin of all life. The purest form of life there is, channeling it towards any part of your body will enhance that part and cure it of any deformities or harm. Can be utilized to heal others. Once you reach 10 you will gain the option to concentrate your Life Force, unlocking Life Force Density stat, which will act as an enhancement to your natural durability. Once your Life Force Density is high enough the energy permeating your flesh will become tougher than steel so knives will bounce off and bullets will flatten on your softest bits. Life Force is a strange stat that raises through eating, sleeping, resting, sexual intercourse, and sometimes, simply being in nature. As a side effect of Life Force's enhancement your body will be 'healed' towards the physical peak, and your appearance will shift to become your ideal version. Over the course of the day where your exert yourself physically you will see your Life Force diminishing until it reaches 0 and you'll be left with your natural capabilities, unenhanced by your Life Force, at least until you sleep and reset the protection. It is possible to overdose on Life Energy, which will make you hyperactive and unable to sit still.
Mind Force: Mental Energy, the origin of thought. The purest form of consciousness, grants gamer muse on a tap. Whenever you feel stuck on someone or need an idea or goal, or simply a fresh perspective, the Mental Energy is there to give you direction. By channeling it you will be filled with inspiration. MF also allows you to increase your perception of time, and passively enhances your mental faculties. Like the other two Force stats you are able to unlock Mind Force Density stat upon reaching 10 or more, decreasing the stat to 1(or 2 if you increased the density at 20), and gaining additional benefits. The benefits of higher density Mind Force are the protection against mental attacks, increased speed of thoughts, easier control over the muse, lesser energy spending per utilization, and deeper thoughts than before to name a few. The Mind Force will regenerate as you rest your mind, kick back and relax, or look at things that would give you inspiration. It is possible to overdose on Mental Energy, causing uncontrollable mental speed increase, difficulty with focusing on anything due to surges of inspiration, half forming thoughts before new ones replace them at a rapid pace, and temporary obsession onto the final thoughts you get as your Mental Energy reaches normal levels.
Presence: The stealth gauge. The more aware of your existence others are the higher this gauge will rise. The more focused people are on you the higher the gauge will reach. If you learn how to decrease it then you might learn quantum type abilities, mainly removing wounds, changing your past actions, changing your looks, and anything else you can think of that relate to how you appear in the past and present.
Chance: Technically the luck stat, and like the Force trio and Awareness, another stat that can be raised through Stat Points. The Chance stat gives you the ability to add or subtract the chance of events happening. If you have 2 Chance then you can spend 100% of your Chance Energy to add +2% to the possibility of you finding two pennies glued together while going on your daily walk, but that doesn't mean you will find them if the chance of you finding the pennies was 0%, now you just might find it if you look harder and cover longer distance, rather than the answer being a definite 'no chance'. Like Soul Force stat Chance doesn't regenerate normally, you only regain your spent Chance percentage through sleeping. Like Awareness Chance stat has added potential, once you reach 100 Chance you can reset it to 1 and gain 1 Luck stat in exchange. The Luck stat is the classical version of the luck stat, it works passively, doesn't require recharge, and works to accomplish your immediate whims, such as not getting shot in a gun fight or feeling an urge to take the trash out at the just right time to meet with your hot neighbor. However the Luck stat doesn't work for the long term, you might win all the time at the casino and draw attention to your supernatural ability, you might stumble your way into the panties of a woman, only to find out she had a jealous boyfriend or was a Yandere. For your future fortune you need to reach 100 Luck to merge them into 1 Fate. A Fate, or a Fate Spirit, is a kind of elemental that governs a very specific domain. It is a sentient supernatural force that pushes you and every other bit towards a certain goal, which can be forming a harem around you, gaining money stupidly easily, interesting people applying to your job, and more, whatever you dedicate it to at its forming, it will work to accomplish that to the best of its ability. Whatever you set it to it will pull strings of destiny expertly for all actors to meet at the right time, place, and mindset to accomplish its mission.
Stat Points: The only way to increase your base abilities(besides Willpower). You earn them by accomplishing important deeds. These can be important to you personally, like losing your virginity or killing your first fellow human being, or they can be important to others like saving lives, destroying them, and more. The more important the deed is the more points you will get, saving a baby might give you five while saving five old half dead cancer patients might barely give you one point. Just don't expect much at the start as your weak power likely won't allow you to do anything important. Proxy action rewards depends on the amount of effort you put in, so revealing the truth of someone's cheating because you chanced upon them will worth less than if you had followed them secretly for days and then took pictures to show to the cheated partner. The main thing to keep in mind about this game system is that its growth is exponential, stronger you are the easier it will be to grow even stronger and stronger until the numbers become meaningless.
Optional Parts
Inventory: The internal storage ability.
You have the ability to store items in your being, the stored items do not add their weight to you however their mass, the amount of air resistance they'd face if they were in your place, will be added to you, so don't put inflated balloons in it if you do not wish to fly with a breeze.
Also, poisonous or acidic, or cursed objects will hurt you as if you had swallowed them. You feel the items inside the Inventory with all your senses constantly in the back of your mind, so putting disgusting tasting things might not be the smartest idea either. Over time the space inside the Inventory will expand, and toughen up, allowing you to put more volatile materials inside.
You can choose to digest the things inside the Inventory, or equip the clothes in it instantly, the clothes seemingly being pushed out of your skin. To put anything inside the Inventory you need to push them into your skin, which can be used to phase through attacks however you would need to be much faster to be able to do that in the midst of combat. The time passes normally in the Inventory, however you can learn to slow it down through your Mind Force stat.
Reputation Tab: This little tab that shows how people feel about you and their relationships with you. You may increase your reputation and affection with people and once you reach +50 on either they will not go lower however if you reach -50 with someone they will not go above it either, and the same is also true if you manage to reach positive or negative 100. At 50 they might still be able to suppress their instincts and fight you/not fight you anyway, however at 100… It is a different matter. Someone with a positive 100 would storm the gates of hell, spit in the face of Satan, transform into a demon or zombie through the power of love, and only rest once you asked them to or died a happy death that you desired. Someone with a negative 100 would froth at the mouth just from hearing your name, their hatred would cross lives and even if they transformed into an emotionless husk they would find themselves hating you despite not having any memories of you.
Respawning: Whenever you die you either wake up on the bed you last slept in, with everything returning to the time you woke up, or you find yourself walking out of a hospital, or the closest equivalent. Should you choose to wake up in bed you will find a natural ability to act out the same as you did the first time around until you decide not to. Either way, after your death, whether you leap backwards in time or not, only the person that killed you will feel like something is wrong with your continued existence. If you time traveled then they will not remember the events either but will feel flashes of unease and déjà vu the closer they get to delivering the final blow.
Dungeon Crawl: There are three types of dungeons. First is the Soul Force Dungeons, where rather than enemies you get trials to accomplish, such as a cemetery requiring you to light up candles on tombstones before sunrise while pushing against the ethereal ghosts' grasps, or a confession stand where you fight your past sins. The second type is the Life Force Dungeons which are far more physical and real. They can be fighting through a gang infested abandoned building, or saving all the people on a burning building, or even various physical competitions like a triathlon. The third type of dungeons are the Mind Force Dungeons which are, rather than physical or spiritual, are far more mental. They can be an escape room challenge, a murder mystery, or a mundane puzzle game you'll need to finish before a time limit. In general you'll find them while dreaming and each time you encounter a dungeon in a dream you'll notice it by the sudden solidifying of the rules in the area, if you die in a dream dungeon then there is no penalty but waking up abruptly however a waking dungeon has real consequences. Different dungeons offer different rewards, with real dungeons offering more tangible ones while dream dungeons usually only offering stat upgrades. Soul Force Dungeons usually gives spiritual rewards such as absolving of all your sins, Soulbound items, or understanding on a subject. Life Force Dungeons usually gives the classical loot, money, equipment, and consumables. The final type, the Mind Force Dungeons, generally give tips on future events, mastery over various skills or abilities, or the inspiration needed to solve a complex problem you are stuck on.
Media Dungeons(requires Dungeon Crawl): You have a fourth type of dungeon, the media type. Depending on the books or items sacrificed a dungeon springs up based on the media. If you put a Naruto manga volume and channel Soul and Life Force, then you'll likely take Naruto's place in his battles. If you use only Mind Force you might take the place of a Yamanaka clan member, and the dungeon might be on accelerated time rate. If you use sufficient amount of media, like all the volumes of Naruto, and all three energies, and sufficient amount of all three energies, then you might enter a True Media dungeon that is a dimension where Naruto setting is real and you can either take over one of the characters or be yourself but with a fitting background. If the energy spent is too little, unbalanced, or the media doesn't have enough information, then the result is random. Kind of like a story created by ChatGPT, but the prompt was too small.
Powerups!(Requires Media Dungeons): If you enter complete a True Media dungeons based on video games with powerups you might see them outside after finishing the media dungeon. Enjoy Mario's 1UP Mushroom, or floating weapons in obscure places that reappear after you leave the area, or dragon walls, or even kill streaks. The more you finish similar medias the more powerups you will gain. Depending on the type of the power up you might see more or less of them, a dragon wall for example would only be found in dungeons, while a 1UP Mushroom might require you to stumble upon an invisible floating block in random locations.
