AI summary

Gives you The Weapon, an amorphous shadowy jelly that starts slow and dull-edged, and the title of Slayer. It grows along three paths: training, consuming — anything at all, from water and earth and gases upward — and killing, whether the death is caused directly or indirectly through it. Each kill adds to a hidden murder count and leaves a spiritual imprint inside the Weapon, and as the Weapon grows without limit so do you, becoming stronger in step with it through training, through consuming might or magic, and through the killing itself.

Effects

  • The Weapon: The Weapon's true form is that of an amorphous shadowy jelly like blob. When you first gain it the Weapon will be weak. It will be slow to change shapes, the shapes it takes will be dull rather than sharp, and in general it will be hard to utilize it as an effective weapon. However while it starts out weak it still has incredible growth potential. As you utilize it, make it take certain shapes more, it will memorize them and transform into them faster and faster. You can train it to be denser, hold its shape against harder blows, and sharpen it by focusing on it or taking it to a grindstone. The one exception to the shapes it takes is a copy of you, it can become a perfect copy of you, with all of your capability. When it takes your appearance it links up with your subconscious and you control it like a second body without even focusing. The Weapon has a level of intelligence of its own but isn't a person, it is a tool, and while it might wield itself as needed or allow those you'd consider allies to utilize it temporarily, its greatest abilities can only be drawn out when under your direct command. Depending on how you train it the Weapon can grow a personality and preferred appearance, or it might stay as a tool, but regardless of its personality and how your treat it, it will do its best as your loyal Weapon and you will find it in your hand whenever you need it. Or if you manage to get yourself trapped or die somehow then it will do everything it can to resurrect you.

  • All Consuming: The Weapon has three paths to growing stronger, while one is through training like mentioned before, the other is through consuming things. What things? Everything. Water, earth, gases, sunlight, enchanted objects, carcasses, potions, poisons, viruses, acid, medicine, and everything else you can interact with. The consumption is instant but assimilating what is consumed might take time, the more complex something is the longer, though even half assimilated things can come in handy at times. Once the Weapon consumes something it can take its form perfectly, looking no different than a mundane example of the thing. Make it consume a large enough diamond and it will become as strong as diamond in all its forms. Make it consume water and it will be able to flow like water. Make it consume a phone and it will utilize it to learn coding and machinery. Even if the amount you consumed is too little for the Weapon to learn all of the material's traits it will study it in the background and eventually all of the capabilities will be learned. Consumption is also the way to grow the Weapon's overall mass, allowing it to take multiple forms at once or utilizing that mass in melee, such as being light as a shadow when you swing it but hit like a truck. However certain forms will harm the Weapon too, such as taking the form of a grenade when the Weapon's durability can't handle such an explosion, the amount of mass consumed will increase the healing rate. Without enough mass even a rapid fire weapon like a minigun might deplete the Weapon's mass reserve fast. When damaged or drained beyond a certain limit the Weapon will reform inside your being, ready to be summoned to your hand at will.

  • Kill Empowerment: Killing is the third way to improve the Weapon. Either directly or indirectly, when death is caused by the actions taken with the Weapon, it will become deadlier. The exact way to measure such a thing is rather difficult, however the more you've killed with the Weapon the more damage you will do with each slash, with each hit, and after a certain point you won't even need to do anything, as the sheer deadliness of the Weapon will influence the world to kill your enemies. They will trip into the traffic only to get hit by a truck, construction crews will drop heavy machinery on top of them, their stove will turn on or off without their notice only to explode violently when they come nearby, and other such accidents and coincidences that wouldn't be out of place in any Final Destination movie. After enough kills a firecracker might distract and scare an immortal army of monsters into shooting each other in panic until every single one of them is dead.

  • The Murder Count: One of the incentives for using the Weapon for its intended purpose as the Slayer, is the murder count. The Weapon will have a counter on its forms, somewhere unseen or internal should the Weapon needs to blend in, this counter will show the amount of lives ended with the Weapon. This murder count also has the power to help you survive things that should've killed you. Maybe there is a sniper aiming for your head, or a freak lightning has struck you directly, or you got thrown into the cold and empty space, well, the counter will go down by one for each event. The counter works according to the pain you feel, so getting thrown into space won't instantly diminish the counter to zero due to choking, it will work with fate to make you revive somewhere safe and as healthy as you can be. Maybe the aliens find your frozen body and reanimates you, or your soul moves into an unoccupied comatose body. The murder counter is actually connected directly to karma itself and protects you from any negative karmic retribution from all your killing. Also don't worry about old age, as once you revive after dying to old age, you'll find yourself in your prime, or perhaps younger if that is your wish. The murder count can also be utilized to give your body certain modifications, such as enhancing your physical capabilities permanently, changing your appearance, or to generate a supernatural effect per kill. You can also use the kill of someone to gain their capabilities without their drawbacks, such as killing someone with a devil fruit and not gaining their weaknesses. As for the supernatural effects… Think ritual sacrificial magic, what you can do with it you can do with your murder count. Also sacrificing the murder count of an innocent will form a small fireball than a pyromancer's, or cursing the family members of someone you killed will be easier with their kill count than someone unrelated.

  • Spiritual Imprint: Another incentive for killing with the Weapon is the spiritual imprints. Any time the Weapon is used to deal the final blow to a living being a spiritual imprint appears inside it, to be summoned by you as your unquestionably loyal tireless ghost slaves. They have all the skill, capabilities, and knowledge they had while alive, however their personality is a bit diminished due to being spiritual imprint rather than being ghosts. If the Weapon consumes their body while the target is still alive then it can summon more than a mere imprint, but the actual target, they will still be bound to serve you though. If the Weapon consumes them after they pass on, then the Weapon will be able to summon the imprints as living beings, however they won't be the original, their personality will be diminished, though greater than if they had only been an imprint, and they also won't require sleep. It is possible to have the Weapon take on the appearance of corpses it consumes, and even have it replicate their biological abilities, but mental and spiritual abilities will be beyond its reach that way. If one of your spiritual imprints gets damaged or destroyed then they will reform inside the Weapon after some time, the length depends on their strength, to be summoned again.

  • The Slayer: As the Weapon grows without limit so will you. Besides becoming stronger in relation to the Weapon's power, training to push your limit, consuming the might or the magical, and simply taking lives will enhance your capabilities. Lifting weights to your limit will see those limits moved further each time, stretching your limbs to their limit will see them extend more than naturally possible, and pushing yourself to run faster will actually faster. Eating chicken hearts will make yours beat stronger, drinking the blood of a dragon will give you a bit of their magical capabilities, and taking stimulants will make them a natural part of your biology, without the drawbacks. And finally killing something will make your attacks more damaging to their kin, the more you kill the better your gaze will pick up weak spots to aim for, and as your kill count increases your instinctual understanding of others' danger level and how to hide yours will similarly increase.
