Essence of thePurifier (Starcraft)

This Essence appears in front of you in a surge of golden plasma, in a white metal canister. It tastes like a grudge, duty, honor, and dedication.

• You receive the complete martial knowledge and skill of all the Protoss Templar.

• You have gained all scientific and technical capability associated with the Purifier project.

• You understand the tiniest details of how every purifier frame works, why the design decisions were made for all of those details, and how to manufacture them. These range from the "humble" Sentinel to the massive Purifier Nucleus Assault Motherships.

• You also possess the engineering aptitude to design additional frames using new technology or for specific situations, or modify their stock VIs for specific reasons.

• You have been transformed into a psi-infomorph and placed in a basic Sentinel frame. As a psi-infomorph, you can transfer yourself like data, but cannot be copied, edited, or analyzed like normal data.

• Your psi-power will grow over time and through personal development, giving you greater efficiency on whatever computer hardware you have, as well as giving you additional "free" processor power that you have access to regardless of physical access to such resources.

• You can transfer between different frames through proximity. Within the range of of a Purifier power field, you can also instantly transfer to any frame also within such a field.

• You have access to the Purifier Data Network, a psi-digital communications network that works similar to the Khala. It allows sharing of information, feelings, and greatly improves coordination between members.

• You can also not be partitioned - if a transfer fails in the middle of the process, nothing happens and you remain in your original body.

• You understand the technology (to the same degree as the frames) that allows you to transform others into psi-infomorphs.

• You understand how to create and use Protocols. Protocols are effectively psi-magic code that lets you do things like make your frame larger and tougher, make its attacks more powerful, give its attacks new effects or even give it new attacks or abilities.

• The stronger your psi-power, the more Protocols and the stronger Protocols you can have active at once.

• Protocols are somewhat flexible on which frames they apply to - a Protocol written for a Sentinel might also work for an Adept or a Praetor Sentinel, but wouldn't work for a Scout or Void Ray.

• You have access to the Purifier Pocket Dimension, a space almost completely separate from reality. Only Purifiers can access it.

• This includes the Purifier Core Matrix, which stores the consciousness of all Purifiers. If any Purifier's frame is destroyed before they can transfer out, they will find themselves active within the core.

• The Purifier Core Matrix can run Protocols using the might of the entire Purifier people, which can be used to enhance entire armies or just certain sections of them.

• The Purifier Core Matrix has a virtual environment within, that can be used for testing of real designs without needing to spend time or resources manufacturing prototypes.

• The Purifier Core Matrix provides security for Purifier minds, protecting them from being read from or written to without permission. It ensures the confidentiality of Network communications. It also protects against many forms of corruption and frame subversion.

• It can also be used as a more mundane power source, if those are lacking inside the Purifier Pocket Dimension.

• The Purifier Pocket Dimension has its own production facilities, ranging from Frame Foundries that produce small frames like Sentinels and Adepts to Starslips that can be used for the manufacture of capital ship frames.

• These are supplied by regenerating mineral and gas bunkers.

• Warp gates allow you to warp yourself out while occupying a frame, and can also recall your frame back to the Purifier Pocket Dimension.

• There are also a set of Mobile Foundry Units (the pre-militarized version of Reavers) present in the Purifier Pocket Dimension in order to construct additional py- additional structures.

• Certain types of structures placed within the Purifier Pocket Dimension can be used to provide effects in the real world, ranging from teleporting in something without a power field, to planetary-scale time manipulation and deadly beam bombardment. You understand these like you understand frames.

• The Purifier Pocket Dimension is initially connected to the Starcraft Universe, and optionally one other universe. It is possible to construct additional gate trajectors in order to connect to new universes.
