Essence ofOd Lagna

The Essence of Od Lagna appears as a vial of glowing water. It shines white when focused on, but splits into every color of the rainbow when seen from the corner of your eye, or when you make yourself cross-eyed.

• Upon consuming this Essence, it will first bring you to the prime of your life. Should you be older than 25, you are de-aged to that point. All damage, injury, or malformation of your body, mind, or spirit is repaired and made whole. Birth Defects are corrected, long-term damage from childhood injuries are repaired, and lead or microplastics in the brain are deleted, among other similar changes. While not an Olympian athlete in any one sport, you are left as close as is possible to an omni-disciplinarian physique.

• Secondly, this Essence will bestow upon you its primary purpose, granting the ability to gain "Divine Protections" to deal with perceived needs. Divine Protections are blessings of talent and ability granted at birth in their home realm, ranging from the useless to the game-breaking. Powers granted can range from increased and magically-reinforced talent in certain areas, supernatural defenses against certain types of attacks, or strengthened abilities in certain conditions. Nearly any power you could possess, can be manifested as a Divine Protection.

• Divine Protections are given to you when you feel they are needed, but are permanently kept. When you are thrown into the lake without being able to swim, you might gain a Divine Protection that grants waterbreathing or swimming skill, but you do not lose that ability when you leave that situation. Further, Divine Protections do not have a downside, except not activating outside their condition for conditional ones. That Divine Protection of Waterbreathing does not prevent you from breathing air, and when you leave the water you will harmlessly expel any water in your lungs rather than chocking.
