AI summary

Optionally inserts you into any setting as a Drop-In, OC Insert or Self Insert, and every time you enter a new setting lets you take any number of companions drawn from other works — including the same franchise, provided they do not appear in the destination — with their families, backgrounds, abilities, powers and items adapted to local metaphysics however you choose. They are not the originals and remember no prior life, they can replace an equivalent canon character (DC's Lucifer standing in for Supernatural's), and though you may not start beside them you will meet them eventually and that first meeting will go well; they are highly compatible with you and inclined to overlook your flaws, but remain real people who will turn on you if pushed far enough. You can also take Enemy Expies, who get none of those friendly effects and each let you choose one adapted thing from any of your expies' settings — and since their hostility is not fiat-backed, you can win them over if you work at it.

  • Optionally, you might get inserted into any setting. You can choose if you are a Drop-In, an OC Insert, or a Self Insert.

  • Whenever you enter a new setting, you will gain the option of gaining any number of companions. These companions have some rules:

  • They must be characters from another setting. Characters from the same franchise are acceptable, as long as they don't appear in the main work you will end up in.

  • This also adapts their family or clan, if any.

  • These characters will have their background, abilities, powers, items, and anything else adapted to local metaphysics in a way of your choice.

  • They are not the original. They will not remember their original self, as as far as they are aware this was their first life.

  • They can replace a canon character if an equivalent already exists in the setting. For example, replacing Supernatural's Lucifer with Lucifer Morningstar from DC. There is a lot of leeway in what is considered 'equivalent.'

  • You will not necessarily start in the same location as these characters, but you will eventually meet them along the way. Your first meeting will be positive in some way.

  • These characters are highly-compatible with you personality-wise, and will be more willing to overlook your flaws than normal. They are still people though, and will turn on you if you give them enough shit.

  • You can have 'Enemy Expies.' These will not have the above effects. From each Enemy Expy you have, you can choose one thing (adapted) from the setting of any of your expies, both Friendly and Enemy.

  • These Enemy Expies don't have any kind of fiat-back enmity with you. You can turn them to your side if you try hard enough. They just start as your enemy, and don't have the same friendly effect as Friendly Expies.
