Essence of theRinnegan

Deva Path: The Deva Path grants you access to the Five Elements, as well as the ability to use Yin-Yang Style. You gain "Shinra Tensei," a technique that grants you control over repulsive forces. And "Banshō Ten'in," a technique that grants you control over the attractive forces. You start with the canon five second cooldown with both, but this can be trained out. Besides this, you also have the Chibaku Tensei, the ability to create a small gravitation core that will pull matter in its range towards it. The range it affects depends on how much energy you put on it.

Asura Path: This path grants you the ability of Self-Biokinesis. You can freely manipulate your body however you understand, even changing your body parts into machinery and back into flash as you will. The catch is that you can only manipulate what you understand: So if you don't understand machines you couldn't make yourself into a cyborg, or if you don't understand medicine and biology you wouldn't be able to heal the legs you've burnt long ago.

Human Path: The Human Path grants you the ability to interact with souls. At its most basic, you can yank the soul from someone's body for a multitude of uses, like temporarily empowering yourself or reading its memories. There is actually almost no limit to what you can do with this if you are creative enough, but of course, that'd likely involve a lot of human experimentation.

Animal Path: This Path gives you the ability to create Chakra Receivers, generating them from any part of your body. These Receivers can receive your Chakra from a long distance, allowing you to control whatever they are stuck in, and also empower them depending on how strong your Chakra is. Besides this, you also gain the ability to summon any creature you have stuck a receiver in no matter where you are. Your Rinnegan is mimicked in anyone who has you receivers, and you can see from their eyes.

Preta Path: This Path allows you to absorb any supernatural energies you are capable of possessing yourself, regenerating or awakening your reserves as you do so. A downside of this is that you will suffer any side-effects of energy if you don't know how to control it, for example, if you absorbed Sage Chakra you could turn to stone if you never learned Senjutsu or didn't have Hashirama Cells.

Naraka Path: This Path grants you the ability to summon the King of Hell. The King of Hell allows you to interrogate someone by pulling their tongue, which will be cut if they lie or not answer, which will kill them. Besides this, this Path also possesses the ability to restore any damaged object. This includes living beings, but any living being that is repaired this way will suffer trauma strong enough to be completely broken after that.

Outer Path: This Path grants you control over life and death. With this, you can use the Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique to revive people, although the cost will be your life if you don't possess enough lifeforce and stamina to withstand it. Besides this, the user is also able to summon the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, which allows you to use the Phantom Dragons Nine Consuming Seals to absorb the souls of others. And lastly, you can summon the Demonic Statue Chains, which are essentially identical to the ones used by the Uzumaki clan besides the color and spikes.

The Demonic Statue will never harm you. If you are in the Naruto universe you can decide if you summon the real one or a copy of it.

The Six Paths of Pain: The ability to confer each one of your Paths (Besides the Outer Path, which you keep to yourself) to a third party, as long as they aren't human (reanimations are free game.) You gain extreme multitasking ability, enough to have a two dozen demi-minds that are interconnected, allowing you to control multiple bodies at once. Unlike a normal user of the Rinngan, you don't have a range problem with it. You can still use the other Paths even while conferring a Path to another.

You have access to any unique ability demonstrated by an user of the Rinnegan:

Amenotejikara: A space-time dōjutsu that allows you to swap the position of any two targets, even changing the positioning of their body if it is something like a human or a doll.

Limbo: You can create 'shadows,' clones that exist in another dimension. They can only be perceived by the Rinnegan, or unnatural forms of perception like the ones granted by the Six Paths Sage Mode. They also cannot be harmed by conventional means. You start with two clones, but you'll gain more as you grow stronger.

Chakra Edible Creation: You can turn other beings into a Chakra Fruit. When you eat that fruit you gain a temporary power-up, evolving into a demonic form. The power-up stops when you have completely absorb its power, gaining all the abilities and energy of the one you turned into an edible.

Origami Replacement Technique: You can substitute yourself with a herd of origami cranes made of red energy whenever you are about to be struck. Any energy you have is temporarily untraceable after using this.

Portal Creation: A space-time dōjutsu that allows you to create dark portals similar to Kāma Rifts, allowing you to travel to any location, including foreign dimensions. This uses a lot of energy, and most wouldn't be able to use it frequently.

Takamimusubinokami: The ability to absorb energy attacks, and then release them at will with even greater strength than the original. Since your eyes are likely not in your hands like Momoshiki, you gain a nearly skin-tight (which also covers your clothes) field of invisible energy that you can channel this ability through instead.

Temporal Rewind: A Space-Time dōjutsu that allows you to warp several seconds in the past.

Tengai Shinsei: Allows you to summon a meteor from outer space to crash into the land. It's technically a suicide technique unless you have a method to flee from it.

Mini Tailed Beast Bombs: Like the God Tree clones, you possess the ability to create mini Tailed Beast Bombs in front of your eyes, and release them on whatever you aim at.

With time and research, you can create your own unique Rinnegan abilities as long as they are around the same level as the canon ones. You can create as many as you want.

As the Sharingan is derived from the Rinnegan, and many of the Rinnegan users obtained it via evolving their Sharingan somehow, you can gain my Essence of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan for free, with your Rinnegan turning into a Tomoe Rinnegan, a dōjutsu that possesses the powers of both the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and the normal Rinnegan. All the abilities of your Sharingan skyrocket in power and efficiency, becoming even stronger than in your Eternal state.

Optionally, if you take the Essence of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan you can now use the Izanami and Izanagi without temporarily losing your power.

Optionally, you gain a pool of Chakra comparable to both Nagato and Rinne Tensei Madara (Before he became a Jinchūriki) together.

As a user of the Rinnegan, you possess Six Paths Chakra… which is basically a fancy name for the Chakra of the Otsutsuki. It is much denser, heavier, and more powerful than normal, as well as being much easier to manipulate. This also grants you the ability to fly. This Chakra has the effect of increasing the visual prowess of any other Dojutsu you have.arable to both Rinne Tensei Madara (Before he became Jinchūriki) and Nagato combined.

If you learn Sage Mode somehow, you can combine your special Chakra with it to create the Six Paths Sage mode, an elevated form of Sage Mode.

Optionally, if you get strong enough you can naturally unlock the Rinne-Sharingan, a dōjutsu that possesses the powers of both the Sharingan and the Rinnegan, as well as the ability to activate the Infinite Tsukuyomi, and the ability called Amenominaka which allows you to transport to other dimensions as if shaping the world via genjutsu.
