You can take any Existing God/Demon/Angel and take their powers/skills/abilities, servants, followers, position, equipment and so on, without any negatives/weaknesses/downsides/drawbacks of the being you usurp.
For example, if you usurp Abrahamic God and went to DxD, Angels will treat you as their father, faith of worshipers will go to you and make you stronger, Heavenly system will see you as YHWH and you can fix and operate it perfectly, and you have all power/skills/knowledge of Him at his Highest in all those aspects and then if you somehow go to Supernatural, followers of Abrahamic faiths counts as your worshipers too, further strengthening you. And that is just an example.
You can also usurp multiple beings at once, but you have to choose them before the process of usurpation ends.
