By drinking this Essence, a Beast will awaken within you.

• The Beast within you is a creature of tremendous, impossible strength and just awakening it provides you with a number of effects, some more obvious than others.

• Most noticeably, your body has been empowered beyond human limits.

  • You can track bullets in motion, move faster than normal men can follow and then tear those same men in two, toss them across a room like ragdolls or shatter the concrete beneath their feet with a stomp.

  • Your physical resilience and stamina is increased, such that blows that would have killed you before will merely crack bones or bruise flesh and you can maintain maximum effort for incredibly long periods of time.

  • You heal with visible speed, wounds closing before your eyes and even damage that wouldn’t normally be repaired, such as to internal organs or lost limbs, will slowly repair itself over time.

  • Your senses have been improved to levels reserved for animals, smelling like a dog, seeing like a hawk, hearing like a bat and more.

• All of these things are just the passive effects of your new nature. The active effects will take some time to understand and control, but when they do, they will become blindingly obvious.

• You are an instinctive and effortless hunter, possessing a natural mastery of the mechanics behind hunting, stalking, laying traps and similar things.

• You may shape your biology in crude and blunt ways to better achieve whatever purpose it is you are trying to achieve. You could shape your hands into brutal claws, alter the structure of your legs to jump higher and further, further enhance your senses, thicken your skin into leathery armor or increase your size. With time, you might achieve greater or finer transformations.

• To better stalk amongst your prey, you can reverse and conceal any transformations you have undergone by the Beast and return to your original form.

• The Beast is a hungry, lethal thing that exerts constant pressure on your mind, demanding you hunt, kill and eat other beings. Giving in to these demands, if even for a single occasion, will embolden the Beast, strengthening the power of its mental influence but also increasing the strength of the abilities it provides with no upper limit so long as you continue to hunt, kill and eat prey.

• The ravening presence of the Beast extends a certain degree of protection to your mind, shielding it from those without the power, skill or fortitude to overwhelm it, sift through its primal desires or resist its predatory hunger.

• A powerful will can restrain the Beast while allowing you to freely draw on it’s abilities. Or perhaps you could tread another path, integrate with the Beast and master it’s instincts to achieve higher power? Who knows.
