Essence ofEl Lobo/Death

This Essence tastes like iron. Upon drinking this Essence, you gain an anthropomorphic wolf form and a pair of Sickles that can be combined to form a double-bladed glaive.

• You gain conceptual awareness of death, and the ability to kill anything in such a way that it cannot resurrect itself or be resurrected.

• You gain immense skill with bladed weapons and a killer instinct for battle (to the extent that you can fight legendary warriors and come out on top) as well as a keen ability to unerringly track anyone you dub your prey.

• You possess the ability to control flames, and can use them in a variety of ways such as to separate your intended victims from their allies or intimidate victims.

• Death cannot be contained and cannot be escaped. You possess the essential quality of freedom, and can go where you please and are conceptually immune to being contained or imprisoned.

• Death is the strongest force. You possess superhuman strength and durability. Your body is well beyond peak human in every respect.

• Language is a funny thing. You gain fluency in every language. Everyone will know you and understand you.

• You can emit a whistle that terrifies your intended victims to their core. This whistle will not scare those you don't want it to scare, but your victims will experience a primal fear when they hear it, the effect of which will be magnified if your victims have met you. Even living legends could run in terror after hearing the whistle if they have met you.

• Entities of death will respect you and view you as a peer. Those who work in fields related to death will respect, fear, admire, or some mixture of all those emotions, you depending on their personal feelings about death. If you reveal your true nature to people they will believe you and react to you in ways that fit their attitude towards death. You may well start a cult even without meaning too.

• Unlike other Makai Knights, you can instantly summon parts of your full armor whenever you want or need, such as donning your helmet to deflect a bullet from landing between your eyes.

• You have access to a separate dimension, where your armor is stored, completely inaccessible to anyone save for you and those you allow. You may store other things in this dimension, treating it as a “hammerspace” or Inventory without time. It does have a limit, however, somewhere around the size of a rather large warehouse.

• You are an expert in various forms of Alchemy and Magic, including those used by the Makai Priests and other sorcerers aligned with the Makai Knights. As part of this, you also have the ability to purify your Soul Metal of corruption and malice, allowing you to turn such evil into raw power that can further enhance your equipment.

• You possess a vast amount of Ki, or life energy, rivaling that of entire worlds. This has several benefits, most notably near-instantaneous healing of any injury or infirmity, an immunity to disease and illness, and a vastly increased lifespan. Not only will your Ki keep you young and at the peak of health and ability, but it will also allow you to heal others, enhance your body and various objects, perform mystic techniques, and far for more. Moreover, your Ki pool will grow over time and with use, increasing all of it’s benefits and granting new ones. In spite of this, you will never have issues from possessing this vast amount of energy, and can store as much of it as you wish without problems. You may also suppress your Ki’s signature, allowing you to fade from the notice of others, even if they have a special sense for energy.

• You possess a sixth sense for evil, sin, malicious intent, and other dark concepts. You can sniff out demons with ease, discern a person’s sins and nature just from a glance, and can easily predict danger and betrayal, just to name a few abilities this sense gives you. You may also dial this sense’s activity up and down as you wish, and will never be overwhelmed by it or any results it gives you.

• As a wandering knight, you possess a vast variety of skills that can help you in just about any situation, all honed to the peak of perfection of knowledge and application. This includes cooking, survival, scavenging, a mastery of languages, hacking, stealth, pickpocketing, and every other skill that might be of even remote use to a vagabond warrior.

• You become a grandmaster crafter in all aspects and disciplines, from sewing, to building, to forging. You have more than enough skill, experience, and knowledge to forge new Makai Armor, weapons, and tools, as well as any other items you come across. This also allows you to reforge Makai Armor and the like, allowing you to completely reshape their appearance and abilities, be it from just altering it to allow for female users, or something like turning it into advanced power armor. You can even conjure any materials you want or need out of nothing. This crafting ability goes beyond just Makai Armor and tools however, and goes even past the conceptual level, allowing your skills to challenge and surpass even Gods.

• You gain a loyal Madoba or other Mount. This artificial horse can be summoned to your side whenever you wish, and can fully regenerate itself to peak form from absolutely nothing. With it, you can cross entire countries within a matter of hours. Moreover, your Madoba/Mount can alter its shape, functions, and abilities to act as any vehicle or ride you can imagine, be it a humble bike to even a massive starship.

• You possess a Madogu, or Magical Tool. This piece of equipment (usually resembling a piece of jewelry) has some form of sentience, and can advise you whenever required. It can also detect monsters and other supernatural creatures, and generate magic flames that can burn evil.
