This Essence tastes like the jubilant joy of getting an exciting new dream job.

• At the time that you drink this you gain one permanent slot and one temporary slot. You can attune various careers to these slots, including and especially magical and supernatural careers.

• Whatever career you attune to the permanent slot you will immediately gain a slew of powerful, oftentimes conceptual abilities related to that career which will persist permanently. As an example, if you attribute the career of "Clergy" to your permanent slot you gain various abilities related to holy people, such as the ability to successfully heal through faith, the ability to gain prophetic visions sourced from some great holy or unholy power, and a litany of minor, mundane skills related to the career in question such as knowledge of various faiths, proficiency in languages related to popular religions, etc.

• You can attune a career to a temporary slot, which gives you access to a slew of lesser, mundane abilities, talents, and skills related to the career in question. If you assign the career of "Chef" to one of these slots you will gain a variety of experience, knowledge, and skills related to things like food prep, beverage making, and the process of plating a dish.

• The longer you keep a career in a temporary slot the more you will internalize the things you gain from the career, and once you've internalized enough you will begin to gain supernatural abilities related to the career in question. As an example, as a chef you could gain the ability to feed anything to anything, allowing you to feed a building some ramen, which will improve the building to the extent that the dish in question is delicious, filling, and how well-prepared the dish happens to be.

• You can, once per month, swap out a career in a temporary slot, and you will keep a shadow of the skills, knowledge, and more you gained from the job you had in a temporary slot, while also gaining the skills of the new career you replace it with.

• Natively supernatural careers can be slotted into your temporary slots but start off deceptively weak at first and take cleverness to really master, such as someone who opts to slot a "Psychic" career into a slot finding it taking a decent while to begin to acquire meaningful psychic abilities but starting off quite skilled at cold reading people and having a deceptively insightful gut instinct.

• Once you've well and truly mastered a career in a temporary slot the slot matures and becomes a permanent slot, but the career also solidifies and becomes stuck in that slot. You will get a new temporary slot instantly when this occurs, and as you mature in your development you will eventually become better at internalizing aspects of a career, allowing you to master careers faster and even gain more than one new temporary slot when you permanently master any career, allowing you to skyrocket your rate of development.

• You can find and/or make items related to careers you've mastered. Some items will be easier to find or make than others, but the sky's the limit here.

• As you increase in power your slots advance beyond being limited to careers, allowing you to gain slots that modify your species, and otherwise attune you to a range of concepts and existences more complex than merely one's profession but that takes more than powerful skill with this perk.
