Essence of theVaried Adventure

This Essence tastes the way the thought of a journey feels.

• Drinking this Essence gives you access to five slots. Each of these slots has a different label.

• The first slot is dubbed "Item" and it can be filled by an Essence that primarily grants you an item or items. Some example Essences here include the Essence of the Knife and the Essence of the Infinity Bat. Once an Essence has been selected and placed in this slot you gain access to the item granted by the Essence in question.

• The second slot is dubbed "Powerset" and it grants you access to an Essence that primarily grants you powers, such as the Essence of the Omega Effect, the Essence of the Manipulator, or the Essence of the Warlord.

• The third slot is dubbed "Travel" and it grants you access to a primarily movement, travel, or space-related Essence. The Essence of the Portalmaster and the Essence of the Space Master are two applicable Essences.

• The fourth slot is dubbed "Companion" and you can fill it with any appropriate Essence which is focused on giving you a companion or companions. Example Essences include the Empress Shoggoth Slime Girl, and the Princess World Essence.

• The fifth slot is dubbed "Miscellaneous" and it can be filled with any sort of Essence you want to fill it with.

• You can gain more slots by using your Essences and by living an adventurous life. As you embark on adventures, the specific nature of which is up to you, you will gain experience that will fill up a bar you can examine at any time with a thought. Once this bar has been filled you will gain the ability to select a type of slot and create a new slot of that particular type, allowing you to add more to your repertoire over time. How much experience you get from a specific adventure depends on how intense the adventure is, and how adventurous you were during it. You get small amounts of experience from doing stuff like going to new places and trying new foods but to get significant amounts of experience you need to be brave and do significant stuff like take on criminal groups and engage in meaningful actions.

• Optionally, once you consume this Essence, you will be transported to some sort of other world of your choice and can be given a background that will organically give you opportunities to go on adventures such as being a wizard in The Wizarding World or a soldier in a generic fantasy world.
