Essence of theNecronomicon

By dripping your blood upon this book, you gain ownership and form a contract with the Necronomicon.

• Your soul and very Essence are forever bound to the Necronomicon, the book of the dead, the greatest Magical Grimoire ever written on the subject of necromancy, the occult, the eldritch and various other horrible studies from across the Omniverse. Only you may read from the book, others will see blank pages, they will not be driven mad unless you specifically will the book to activate the defence feature.

• The Necronomicon is eternal and as you are now its master so are you, you will never age beyond your prime and if you were already past it the book will have already de-aged you to your prime. You are unkillable, even the most powerful of beings will be unable to truly get rid of you at best they may remove your physical body from the physical plane temporarily but that is it. Additionally, you gain the ability to sense the arcane, allowing you to know when someone is casting or has cast a spell and can tell when something has been affected by magic.

• If you did not already have the ability, you can now see the supernatural.

• You are immune to any insanity-inducing effects caused by memetic hazards nor can they corrupt you in any way.

• By default the Necronomicon is a large dictionary-sized book made of human flesh, however, it can shapeshift into anything, from a very stylized tablet to a small notebook.

• Though it looks to only hold a few hundred pages the truth is it holds all necromantic and dark magical knowledge from the entire omniverse. The book is connected to you and as such will immediately change pages or highlight ones containing the information you seek, it also has a handy dandy index that can send you to the correct section of the book by touching the section you want.

• Some Subjects found within the Necronomicon are Various rituals, Necromantic spells, Information on how to become a true Lich(all the benefits, very few downsides), how to contact and summon the Eldritch and of course the Apotheosis ritual, a ritual that will allow you to ascend beyond the planes of reality while still keeping the ability to interact with the normal worlds. Of course, there is much more within the Necronomicon besides just these things.

• The Necronomicon also has the ability to enforce oaths and contracts if the individuals swear upon them while placing their hand on the book’s cover. Oath Breakers will lose their souls immediately dying and being bound to the book to suffer for all eternity, only you will be immune to this, though if you make an oath upon the Necronomicon and break it you will still suffer a burst of pain and a temporary weakness. Because this effect was willingly accepted by the participants, it will bypass all resistances and immunities they would have.

• The Necronomicon Contains the names of Thousands of Demons and various other dark or unspeakable creatures who are bound to the book and in turn through its binding, to you. The creatures summoned through the names within this book will be irrevocably loyal to you and won't just follow the word of the bindings but the spirit as well so you need not worry about them acting out in creative ways to spite you.

• You may bind others to the book gaining their power and their eternal servitude, this can either be done by the chosen person/being willingly accepting it or by forcibly binding someone with the required ritual.

• Should the Necronomicon be stolen, lost, or destroyed; it will reappear near you after a few minutes.
