15You gain a customizable interface which shows what abilities and skills you have as well as their level.
The level of a power or skill goes from 1-100 and every level increases its potency by 10%.
Example: If a throwing skill allowed you to throw something 10 miles away then the next level will be 11 miles and the next will be 12.1 and so on.
Once a skill/ability has been maxed out then it can be prestige which turns its max capability into its new level 1 strength and doubles the improvements granted by a level up.
Example: Prestige 1 = +10 % for every level so Prestige 2 = +20% for every level.
Another ability you gain is the power to create [Sub-abilities] for your powers/skills such as creating the ability to make other things invisible while far away from your ability to turn yourself invisible or granting yourself the skill to automatically calculate phenomena around you from learning a little math.
These [Sub-abilities] can be levelled up and get boosts from the main ability they’re spawned from.
Next is the power to combine powers/skills to form new ones such as combining various martial arts into one taking all the strengths but few if any weaknesses or combining your healing factor with some form of nigh invulnerability to gain adaptive durability that will grow stronger and resist anything that breaks through once.
You can do all this with XP, a kaleidoscopic energy which you generate just by living. It is normally a small but constant stream and will spike in amount temporarily when you experience high amounts of emotion, overcome great trials, explore/learn something new or achieve some form of enlightenment. You also gain a large amount of XP whenever you Prestige a skill/ability or manage to level up one up without using XP, so basically by training.
As implied XP isn’t automatically allocated and must be manually used to level up and prestige a skill/ability. The amount of XP needed to upgrade goes up with each level and prestige.
You can use this interface on others with their permission and will be able to copy any ability you use XP on.
By using a large amount of XP you will be able to create/grant yourself a power/skill wholesale even if said abilities shouldn’t be able to work in whatever cosmos you inhabit. Go and get all the breathing martial arts from fiction and see what happens if you want, no one can stop you.
You can choose to give up a power/skill in exchange for XP.
The interface is an integral part of your being and alters any ability/skill you have to be the same meaning even if you lost your memories, soul or whatever; you will always have all your abilities at whatever strength they were when anyone tried tampering with them. Even reincarnation can never get rid of any of your abilities.
If someone tries to tamper or steal any of your powers or skills this will instead massively increase the XP you gain while they’re trying to do this.
