• You gain the ability to draw out someone's 'hidden potential', bringing them to the peak of their natural capability. How this manifests is up to you, from turning someone into the equivalent of the 'Captain America' of their race, unlocking abilities in their DNA to grant heightened abilities and more.

• You have the ability to grant further potential to those lacking it, allowing them to even grow beyond the peak of their species with gaining associated powers to handle it, such as having control over reaction time, so speedsters won't feel like a second is eternity, someone with super strength won't punch through a falling plane they're trying to catch and other needed safeties. The potential is not for the body, but also for the mind and spirit, allowing you to grant talent for specific skills that enhance their growth rate in that subject.

• You can grant the potential for anything to someone, such as allowing a mundane human from a mundane Earth to awaken Dragon Ball style Ki energy, RWBY's Aura energy or even awaken a special power through suddenly gaining the X-Gene. It doesn't matter if the power is from a different incompatible species, the subject will not be harmed. You can control how this starts, such as how much energy they start with or how easy it is to control, as well as have some influence on what special abilities they might manifest.

• Those affected by this power are supernaturally fast learners, becoming on-in-multi-millennia prodigies amongst prodigies. Though most of their enhanced learning capability is centered around their granted ability, their general learning capability allows them to do things like learn a language by passively observing it being used for a few days, pick up martial arts mid-combat despite having no combat experience and becoming a revered inventor on par with comic book geniuses. Do note, this all depends on the effort put in by the user.

• As the user of this power, your own potential is truly infinite and can never be reduced, copied, drained or stolen, with this protection also encompassing this Essence and any other abilities you gain. You also passively grow stronger by a certain percentage every 24 hours, with the percentage being based on your potential before gaining this Essence.

• This power is a part of you on a level beyond logic and existence, following you even through reincarnation, body swapping or being changed upon a conceptual level. Even if rewritten so you never had this power, you would suddenly gain it back in full.
