Essence of theLiving Power

By ingesting this tart, glowing liquid, you have awakened a new power in the most literal sense.

• Any and all powers that you possess have now become sentient, capable of communicating with you. This communication can take any form, from telepathy, to auditory hallucinations, to boxes of text, or any other method that you can think of.

• Similarly, it can manifest itself as a visual hallucination, taking any form that you can imagine, so long as it has something to do with the power it embodies.

• If your power involves the creation or control over minions, the consciousness can manifest itself through them.

• This new consciousness will inform you about how best to use your powers, and can use them autonomously, even if you are unconscious. New applications of your powers will come easily and endlessly, growing over time in scope and versatility.

• The consciousness cannot be detected by anyone besides you, including by supernatural senses and abilities such as telepathy.

• Your own use of your powers becomes second nature, like using a part of your body. If your power was already like that, then it becomes even moreso. For instance, if you possess magic, then you will become able to freely manipulate mana and cast spells purely on reflex, modifying them intuitively.

• The powers will always act for your benefit when allowed to act independently, protecting you when necessary.

• If you obtain any other powers, then the consciousness will instantly incorporate it into itself.

• At any time, you may choose to split the consciousness into smaller instances, up to one for each power, or a lesser amount for groups of powers, or anywhere in between. Similarly, you may merge them back together with a thought.

• If you so choose, you may even give sentience to any skills that you have, allowing them to advise and assist you in applicable situations.

• When you first take this Essence, you will also gain the power to harness the energy of your soul. This energy can, with enough effort and know-how, be used to replicate various effects, such as infusing your body to slow aging, enhance your strength, forming constructs, or imitating other forms of power.

• Optionally, this power can be reflavored however you like, to being psychic, generic magic, or anything else.

• Given enough time, you can choose to manifest your Inner Beast, the embodiment of all your powers, either altogether or split up and distributed. Likewise, the embodiment(s) will be composed of all types of energy you have access to, and will endlessly regenerate and reform as long as your reserves are not empty.

• At will, you can utilize any of the Beast's senses as if they were your own, including supernatural ones, and project your mind into its body.

• If your body, mind or soul were to be destroyed, your powers will fill in in their absences, allowing your own consciousness to persist, while they regrow stronger than ever.
