AI summary
A revised version of the Inflict CYOA Essence — counted separately so the simpler original rule set stays available — letting you hold five CYOAs in a Stack, play one and inflict its results on a target in line of sight, with that CYOA then going on cooldown. You may let an informed target play their own, you may fudge conflicting parts, you need not complete a CYOA fully, and results can be made retroactive, normalised or Somebody-Else's-Problem'd away; certain vaguely written CYOAs and meta CYOAs can be permanently paired onto another in your Stack as an addition, so choose carefully. Optional firing modes adjust reach against cooldown: Striker needs physical contact and halves the cooldown, Blaster is the single-target line-of-sight default, Shaker hits as many targets as you like within a radius at quadruple cooldown, and Nuker picks any point you can see — directly, by scrying or on video — and generates a Shaker target list from there.

Description
(The previous version is referred to as revision 0 and should be counted separately so as to allow for a simplified rule set if desired).
Effects
13You can load up to 5* CYOAs for use with this Essence. This list of Essences is referred to as your Stack.
You may play any one of the CYOAs in your stack before "inflicting" the results on a target that you have direct line of sight to. After doing so, that CYOA goes on cooldown preventing you from using it again until the cool down timer runs out.
Normally you would play the CYOA before inflicting the results, but if you chose to inform the target of what you're doing, you may allow them to play the CYOAs themselves.
Parts of the CYOA can be fudged* should they conflict with your desires.
When playing the CYOA, you do not need to complete it fully.
The results of inflicting the CYOA can either be retroactive, normalized, or Somebody-Else's-Problemed away depending on how you would like for the rest of the world to react.
Certain CYOAs can be tacked onto one of the CYOAs in your stack as an addition, namely CYOAs written vaguely in such a way that it can reasonably be argued that it "completes" a shorter CYOA or meta CYOAs. Meta CYOAs should only appear once in your stack and should be paired to a single of the loaded CYOAs. You may use multiple meta CYOAs, but they must either be loaded individually into the stack or paired to a CYOA already loaded into the stack.
CYOA and meta CYOA pairs cannot be "unpaired" choose wisely.
Optionally, you may choose to add "firing modes" to this essence to increase or decrease effectiveness, either picking a firing mode, or picking the ability to switch firing modes. These are Striker, Blaster, Shaker, and Nuker.
Striker requires you to make physical contact with the target, and as a result, halves your cooldown.
Blaster requires that you have a physical line of sight to the target. This is single target only and is the default setting.
Shaker allows you to select as many targets as you want from a target list of all valid targets within a radius of effect. This is extremely powerful and thus, quadruples your base cooldown.
Nuker allows you to select a point in space that you can see, either directly or through any other medium including scying or video. That location can then be used to generate a shaker target list from which you may select as many targets as you like. This is absurdly powerful so it octuples your base cooldown.
