Upon imbibing this elixir, you will become a master of shadows, espionage, organized crime, and the ultimate weapon - the Shadow's Blade.

This energy pool can be expanded and strengthened through dedicated training and practice. This energy pool can be used to create and control shadows, making them solid materials, snuffing out and dampening any form of light in the area, and storing any objects and creatures inside a shadow world.

• Supernatural mastery of stealth, enabling you to move undetected even through powerful magical wards or the most sophisticated security systems. This extends to the ability to blend into the shadows, becoming virtually invisible, and even the creation of corporeal clones that share your powers and abilities. • The ability to conceptually kill anything, no matter how immortal or powerful, through the manipulation of your innate energy and mastery of stealth and deception.

• An innate understanding and mastery of biology, disease, and bio-technology, enabling you to create new lifeforms, manipulate flesh, and even control the fertility and pleasure of organic creatures. • A symbiotic relationship with the Shadow's Blade, a weapon that cannot be detected by magical or technological means. You may summon or dismiss it into a pocket dimension at will. The blade cannot be detected and will cut through any material, intangible things such as sickness, space, time, enslavement or even Fate. It will not cut you unless you want it to, and even then it will not cause you pain. Just as you may teleport the Blade to you, you may teleport to it. You gain intimate knowledge and muscle memory that allow you to wield the Blade in all its forms like a master, whether it be for combat or cooking.

• You can kill anything that lives with the Blade, ignoring any and all forms of immortality. Any being killed by the Blade will have all of its powers and abilities added to the Blade, granting it a new form. Those abilities can then be accessed through the Blade and wielded as if they were your own. You may decide on the conditions that might go into using said abilities. Abilities and forms can also be unlocked by allowing the Blade to absorb materials.

• The Blade may be used as a focus for magic of all sorts. With enough focus, you can learn to multiply the Blade into many, and control each of them telekinetically.

• The adaptive cloak hides you from all attempts to see your past and future. The cloak will learn to hide you in much better ways, eventually even feeding false information to those who try to see your past or future. The cloak will also learn how to hide anything on its own, but it is much easier for it to learn how to hide things from active threats. The more the cloak tries to learn / adapt to at the same time, the slower it is.

• You gain supernatural skill at hiding. You know all the mundane ways of hiding whether that’s through camouflage or in plane sight with disguises. You know all the mundane methods by which people will try to find you and mundane ways to counter them. You also gain incredible skill at sneaking and stealth which you’ll only get better and better at. The real power of this Essence is the pool of energy you gain with it which has a frequency focused towards stealth, making attempts at them more powerful. Any other energy pools you possess will be wrapped within this veil of stealth energy so they stand out less. You can hide your scent, your energy signature, your soul, from all human senses, from even memory itself, and with time and practice could hide yourself from all means to find you. Not even ROBs or the 4th wall could locate you if you choose to stay hidden.

• You are naturally much harder to detect even if you don’t have powers and any stealth based spells or powers receive a boost from this effect.

• You gain the ability to command the ever-present darkness and shadows. Initially, your control will extend to only your own shadow and any natural shade that it connects to, but practice will expand your range.

• You may form shadows into solid materials. Practice will increase the amount of properties you may add to them, as well as their complexity and ability to maintain form without concentration. The easiest thing to form is blade-like tendrils.

• You may snuff out and dampen any form of light in the area. Over time and with practice, you may draw veils of night across the sky. All creatures associated with darkness will find themselves deferring to you. Weaker ones will obey you unquestioningly, and time, practice and effort will allow you to exert your will over more powerful ones.

• You may store any objects and creatures inside a shadow world accessible only by you, through shadows. You may also use this world to quickly travel through shadows. At first, any objects stored in your own shadow will weigh down on you, but over time this will decrease.

• In addition, the shadow world may allow you to connect to other universes. Moonlight will not weaken your powers, and you can generate it for yourself.

• You can see perfectly even in total darkness. The shadow world is filled with a bottomless reserve of energy, which is formed whenever magical energy is expended. You may use this cast-off byproduct to cast shadowy versions of any magic that you acquire, making it more subtle than the normal version.

• You gain the ability to gain any power system of those you kill and use them as if born to them.
