10By drinking this Essence, you gain a special console with access to the DMMO-RPG Yggdrasil where you will create a character to build up your strength for the next twelve years.
You will have to level, explore and play the game the same way as all other players must, but with the added benefit of not having to endure the dystopia that is Earth in 2126-2138.
You can choose to either have access to the same Yggdrasil as the anime or to have an equivalent game be launched here in your home world. If you choose the latter, you can choose if the events of Overlord are known by others or if only you remember.
Once these 12 years are up and as long as you are logged in during the shutdown of the Yggdrasil servers ,you will be transported to the "New World" alongside all other logged in players who possess a World Item.
You will not need a World Item to be eligible for this transmigration, though you have twelve years to find some.
Yggdrasil is filled with microtransactions so you shall have a budget equivalent to 10'000 U.S Dollars every month which you can spend on the microtransactions and gachas.
