• Your body becomes an amorphous mass of black slime with a hidden core; you can flatten, stretch, cling to walls and ceilings, spawn countless tentacles, and freely split or merge your mass. Any scattered pieces instinctively crawl back together, and every fragment or offspring body shares one collective consciousness, letting you regenerate from almost any damage as long as the core is not annihilated; only total destruction can truly kill you.

• Anything you fully engulf and digest is converted into biomass, power, and usable traits: animals grant improved movement and racial abilities like venom; plants, toxins, and enchanted materials grant special resistances and secretions; magical beings yield their magic energies, affinities, and spell knowledge; intelligent humanoids grant knowledge (languages, tactics, trap use, daily life skills, sexual techniques, etc), which you can apply instinctively through your slime. There is no fixed upper limit to your size or power beyond how much you can consume.

• Your slime carries paralytic/neurotoxic effect whose potency scales with your overall mass: at full strength it can stop a human heart in moments, while weaker doses cause spreading numbness, heaviness, and heightened sensitivity instead of pain. You can finely control dose and distribution, using lethal concentrations on prey you intend to eat and mild, non-lethal paralysis on chosen broodmothers, and can extend this control to diverse secretions and vapors, including lure-like, honey-thick or plant-derived scents that calm, disorient, or sexually overwhelm those who breathe them. In enclosed spaces you can coat floors, walls, and ceilings and saturate the air, turning the entire area into a slow, inescapable trap that erodes both mobility and clear thought.

• You can treat males and non-fertile beings as food (paralyze, suffocate, digest) and fertile females as hosts: once you have assimilated suitable reproductive templates, you can mimic semen within your body and effectively guarantee impregnation of virtually any female creature (humans, elves, beastfolk, spirits, etc), with all offspring born as your slime spawn. Gestation is accelerated to a few days before tiny but viable slime young are delivered vaginally. Hosts bodily fluids: sexual secretions, sweat, saliva, excreta, milk, and more, serve as nutrient for you and your children; you can keep captured females in continuous heat and stimulation with tentacles, low-dose toxins, and absorbed aphrodisiac fragrances, gradually conditioning their bodies and minds to respond to your touch and scent while you milk them for energy and offspring.

• Every life you consume and every child you produce adds to a shared pool of memory and abilities across your entire brood: all of your bodies instinctively inherit accumulated experience and techniques (martial arts, weapon use, multi-element spellcasting, etc), and by merging many slimes into a single mass you can temporarily push past normal species limits to wield huge tentacle constructs and mana-hardened extensions capable of blocking or neutralizing attacks that would normally obliterate lesser monsters.

• By assimilating magical beings you gain refined mana-sense and advanced magic interaction: you can read the flow of mana to anticipate casting, form mana armor over your body and tentacles, absorb and nullify incoming spells to convert them into your own energy, and permanently copy any spell you have witnessed, slowly amassing a broad library of elements and spell types that you and all your evolved bodies can use.
