AI summary
Lets you create an internal simulation of yourself set to improve or learn any skill you already know or could reasonably learn, which then trains continuously on its own while you get on with your life. The simulation carries no risk and confers only the benefits, leaving you untired and unharmed, and it can replicate any equipment or resources the skill needs so long as those are reasonably available to you. You start with a single simulation running at three times real-world speed, but you can set it to train the simulation itself, increasing both its speed and the number of simulations available — and your simulated self benefits from all your real-world skills, blessings and growth modifiers, updating in real time so improvements you make while awake apply to it as well.

Description
By drinking this bland-tasting Essence from this phone-shaped Essence, you gain the mighty powers of training while sitting on your ass!
Effects
5You gain the ability to create and set an internal simulation of yourself towards improving/learning a skill that you either already know or could learn on your own reasonably. This simulation will then proceed to train that skill, non-stop, until you turn off the simulation. The simulation works at three times the speed of the regular world. As the simulation trains, you reap the rewards of half of that training automatically, and gain the rest all at once after you collapse that simulation. Once you shut off the simulation, you can choose to set it to train anything else immediately.
This ability lets you train and practice anything that you could do in the real world, without any risk to yourself, while also gaining only the beneficial effects. This will not make you tired, exhausted, or otherwise experience anything negative. Training your body in this way will increase your strength and give you muscle memory, but will not leave you gasping for air. Training your magic to exhaustion with this ability will have you refining your spells while not expending any magical energy. Any injuries or such that your simulation incurs while training will not pass on to you, which allows you to train dangerous things to a high degree of competence easily, or even just experiment with things by setting your internal simulation to test certain ideas.
If the skill/ability you are set to train/learn requires equipment/resources, then so long as those resources are reasonably available to you, your simulation can replicate them for use in it's training. For more exotic things, your simulation has access to what you currently have access to. So if you have an ability that requires 2 kilograms of 'exotic material' for 4 hours of training, and you have 4 kg of it yourself, then when you set your simulation it will be able to train for a subjective 8 hours, before it automatically collapses the simulation. Of course, you can then just re-start it, and have it train for another subjective 8 hours ad infinitum, as the real you still has the resource, and the simulation has access to what the real you has upon the time of creation. This also goes for things like books you want to learn from or want to read, if you have the book, then you can start a simulation that uses it, though if you lose the book then once the simulation using it is stopped/completed, then you can't make a new one with that book until you get a new copy. So long as you have the ability to train something using what you have and your other abilities, then your simulation can do the same.
To start with, you only have a single simulation available, working at 3x the speed of the real world. However, you can set your simulation to instead train the simulation itself, to increase both the speed of training, and number of simulations available. It takes roughly 4 months of non-consecutive real world time to add a new simulation or increase the time multiplier by 1 for the first time. Each time you improve one of those aspects, the time needed for further improvements to that aspect also increases (i.e. completing the 4 months for multiplier will not increase the 4 months needed for number of simulations). And to be clear, by 'non-consecutive time' it means you can set the simulation to train the simulation for a month straight, change it to simulate something else for a month, then change it back for 3 months, and that will clear the 4 months worth of training. Or even just having it train the simulation on and off for a while, or whenever you go to bed. Adding additional simulations will increase in cost far more with each additional simulation than the time dilation multiplier will (i.e. going from 1 > 2 simulations will have the 2 > 3 cost be much higher than going from the 3x > 4x multiplier to 4x > 5x would cost).
Your simulation-self also benefits from any skills, abilities, blessings, and growth modifiers you have in the real world. It will also benefit from your own training in real time, so you can work out while your simulation works out to increase the growth rate.
