AI summary
Gives you control of an apartment building hovering in an empty pocket of space, enterable and exitable by thought, beginning with a ground floor of storage and utility rooms and four floors above holding four apartments each for sixteen in total, expandable as you grow. Each apartment comes furnished to model-home standard with power and utilities laid on, awaiting personalisation, and you may claim any for yourself and issue keys letting others reach the lobby from wherever they are — with each key configured to admit that person alone or to let them bring guests — charging rent in money or in stranger currencies such as a small percentage of a tenant's fitness. You may invite tenants from any world you know, fictional or otherwise, who receive an informational pamphlet with a slight compulsion to believe it and may decline; everyone inside understands everyone else's spoken and written language, though not codes; any funds you collect convert effortlessly between currencies from bottlecaps to pounds, yen, dollars or precious metal; and a small dedicated team of house-elves living in a sectioned-off part of the ground-floor storage handles all cleaning and maintenance.

Description
This black and white Essence carries the taste of a cafe latte, mixed with a bit of sugar, in a bottle shaped like an archaic old key.
Effects
12Upon consumption of this essence, you gain control of and access to an apartment building seemingly hovering in a pocket of space without anything around it. You can enter and exit it with a mere thought, appearing in the lobby just past the entrance, and leave from the same location to return to wherever you vanished from before.
This apartment building starts with ground floor holding storage and utility rooms, and 4 floors above it each holding 4 apartments, for a total of 16 apartments available. It can grow in size with you, gaining additional floors, along with new additions, including gaining an elevator once it has 6 floors above the ground-floor.
Each apartment comes furnished with decent but not luxurious furnishings, something you might expect from a model home, requiring some customizing to make a place really feel like home. There is power, water, gas, and access to a server in the building with various movies and TV-series stored on it for entertainment purposes even if the local world does not have its own version of Internet, as well as an option to connect to local internet in an untraceable manner.
You can freely claim any apartment for your own use, and create keys that will allow others to open a way into this apartment building through the lobby from wherever they may be, charging rent or allowing someone to stay for free.
Anyone given access to a key can come and go in a manner similar to you, and may be permitted to bring friends, depending on how you set up their key when you create it. Limiting it to just them, or them and x number of guests can be set up when the key is made, but cannot be altered after without destroying the key and creating a new one. You can always destroy a key at will, no matter the distance, and if a tenant you have given a key is in the apartment building, you can allow them to stay while you make a new key, or immediately evict them, with or without their property, to whichever place they entered the apartment building the last time from.
If you charge rent, this can be a financial cost, or taking something else, as agreed upon before. You can charge rent like borrowing from someone's fitness, gaining a small percentage of their current fitness level to your own, improving your health and condition without actual effort, or draining a small amount of magic ability each month to give yourself an eventual ability to use magic yourself. Such charges do not actually remove them from the tenants, but will leave them feeling slightly weaker for a couple of days after the rent is due, in whichever area was drained. Your gains are 90% temporary, week-long boost, and 10% permanent gains, allowing you to build-up over time.
You may invite tenants from other worlds you know, fictional or otherwise, they will receive a pamphlet with the information and a slight compulsion to believe it to be real, they may decline and toss it away which causes the pamphlet to turn into ashes in a minute when discarded, or accept to at least see the place, and get teleported in to see the place. This may allow you to get in touch with people from fictional settings, and benefit from their abilities if you sign an agreement with them.
You can understand any language spoken in the apartment buildings, likewise the tenants understand you, and one another just as easily. This also extends to written words, but not coded messages, or the meaning behind some phrases commonly used to refer to something beyond their literal meaning in another place.
You can convert any funds gained into another, being paid in Bottlecaps, British Pounds, and Yen could still allow you to convert it all effortlessly into American Dollars, Copper, Silver, or Gold coins in a fantasy setting, credits in a sci-fi setting, and so on. This currency conversion is always available in the building, to all residents.
There is small but dedicated team of house-elves living in a sectioned off area of the storage room on the ground floor that take care of any cleaning and maintenance needs of the building, keeping everything in tip-top shape, and also providing hot meals ready to eat for tenants who are struggling to cook for themselves, but they generally step in when nobody is home and they can do their work unnoticed. The tenant contract mentions this, and also allows for an option to opt-out of the service. Though this will not prevent said house-elves from carrying out maintenance to prevent harm to rest of the building.
You may summon these house-elves to help you in other ways if you wish, but they are bound to the building, and do not leave beyond it for more than short trips like a shopping-run, retrieving goods while under an illusion making them look like normal, if bland and boring people in whatever world they may visit to carry out their shopping needs. This can help keep the place stocked up, and any such costs can be simply reduced from the building income.
Feel free to fanwank any additional options I might have missed, the purpose of this is to provide framework for some fun.
