Essence ofBeat Booster

This Essence tastes like the bass reverberating through your entire being, being chilled and then hot all over, and charged with energy and raring to go, a feeling that passes in seconds, but lingers in memory, with nostalgia.

• You are cured of any physical, mental, or spiritual ailments or maladies you may suffer from, and receive a strong resistance against gaining/developing/being inflicted with any of them in the future.

• Your memory is enhanced, with ability to commit things to permanent memory, or allow them to fade from memory, or strip a memory of emotional weight but recalling the facts clearly.

• You gain an immunity to poisons, disease, and strong resistance against things like radiation, magical transformation effects, and such, being able to undo and reverse any such effects after some time, if you so choose.

• You gain the ability to commit to memory any music that you hear, and cause it to play out as a background song only you can hear, or blast out so everyone, or a select group of people you define on the spot can hear it, and benefit from this.

• This music can grant a thematically appropriate boost, either 1 major, 2 moderate, or 3 minor ones, that will linger 10 times as long as the music does. 5 minute song can have an effect linger for 50 minutes. This caps out at 1 hour length, even 10 hour or more long extended editions only get 1 hour's worth out of it. The music's effect reaches out 10 hours at most with this, but the countdown only starts when the music stops playing.

• For example, someone playing Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger could effectively use it to grant someone Brute package of moderate strength and toughness, or alternatively give them a major boost in any tradesman skill they are working with to perform a job. Car mechanic working on a beat up old junker could turn it into a roaring beast surpassing what it should be able to pull off with those parts, making it temporarily pseudo-tinker-tech, without black-boxing, just transformed better than the original components would allow, and assembled 'perfectly'.

• Only one such boost can be active at a time, even if its split into 3 minor effects, the boosts all fade as another one takes their place.

• Activating this ability to its fullest potential, 'Live Concert', allows it to set a playlist of songs, initially limited to 12 at most, which can stack up and boost people hearing them, one at a time, all boosts sharing a timer that is the combined length of all songs, and then 10 times as long afterwards. This can grant 12 major boosts, or up to 36 minor ones, or any mixture adding up to the maximum, such as 3 major boosts, 6 moderate boosts, and 12 minor ones. You will, eventually, be able to extend this playlist to more than 12 songs granting a boost at once, but it will take some time and practice.

• The Live Concert will permit a duration up to 3 days, or 72 hours, in length, with exceptionally long songs involved, but given each song needs to at least start playing to grant its boost, this has its limits. The Live Concert also exhausts this the Beat Booster ability entirely for at least 24 hours, and the Live Concert will go on a 4 week cooldown, though this can be eventually decreased to 3, then 2 weeks length.

• You gain an ability to traverse the Multiverse, with minor convenient additions like converting currencies without loss, keeping relative and purchase power, as well as understanding and speaking the local language, being able to read and write in the local language, and so on, as long as its possible for your vocal cords to speak said language. You may wish to acquire some futuristic translator for languages you wish to speak that require more than human vocal cords to use.

• Optionally, you may have a single song 'saved' in the event of something killing you, immediately starting to play, with a suitable, pre-chosen effect linked to it. Something like Michael Jackson's Thriller could bring you back as an intelligent undead creature for instance, a lot harder to kill, still sane, and still in control, and capable of using other powers to reverse the undead status to fully living status later. This 'One More Time' effect enters a 72 hour cooldown after use. It can also be used to set up contingencies for revenge beyond the grave should you so choose, and have access to some other means of returning from the dead anyway. This can be less of a boost, and more of an audio-supported Shaker/Blaster effect.
