AI summary
Binds a pocket dimension containing a mine to your soul, entered and left as easily as walking through a door, arriving in a large surface chamber with a tunnel leading out — where people step into mist and return to the outside world — an elevator to the lower levels, chests holding a weightless high-capacity backpack and tools like pickaxes and shovels that far outperform ordinary ones, plus smelters and worktables that refine ore quickly and offer inspiration for what to make from it. Each level holds ore veins, with cheaper metals in lower concentrations near the top and richer, higher-quality ore the deeper you go, in reinforced and safe tunnels where mining goes remarkably fast, and exotic materials you encounter in other worlds eventually appear as veins on the lower floors. Levels can be mined out daily and are restored each day with occasionally shifted layouts, all hazardous materials are perfectly safe inside so radioactive ore causes no harm, deeper levels can yield liquids like crude oil given pumping machinery, and once you have gathered fifty kilograms of refined metal a shipping crate appears at the entrance for selling off whatever you place in it.

Description
This essence links a pocket dimension housing a mine to your soul, granting you control over it and ability to travel to and from this pocket dimension as easy as you could walk through a doorway to another room.
Effects
13The arrival point is at a large chamber near the surface, with a tunnel up leading to the surface at one side, causing people heading out to step into mist and vanish, returned back to the outside world. This chamber also contains an elevator for reaching lower floors, but needs someone to journey down and activate the other elevators further below to gain access to this method of fast travel. There’s also a good number of smelters, worktables, and chests present at the chamber, as well as the sloped path down further into the mines.
The chests contain a backpack that can store a great quantity of goods at once, seemingly weightless, as well as a variety of tools like pickaxes, shovels, and more, that will work a lot better than normal tools should be able to. They are no power tools, but will work wonders regardless. None of these tools can be brought out of the dimension, with the backpack returning to the chest with its contents in case of an attempt is made.
Each level of mine contains some veins of ore on the wall, starting with lower quality and concentration of ‘cheaper’ metals, getting higher quality and quantity of ore the further down one is willing to travel. The mine walls are reinforced, and the place is lit by smokeless lanterns. There will be elevator access points roughly every 5 levels down, requiring a lever to be thrown down to activate the elevator again for that floor.
Mining the ore is remarkably fast and quick with the tools provided by the arrival point chamber, the pickaxe being able to crack out raw ore relatively quickly taking only a few hard hits to dislodge a chunk that can be brought back easily enough.
The smelters on the arrival point can be used to quickly and safely refine ores into good quality metals, ready to be used. The nearby worktables seem to provide inspiration and ideas of how to fashion various products then and there, though having actual blue-prints will make the work much faster, more precise, and less costly in terms of materials.
If the owner comes across more exotic materials in another world, they may find veins of these metals appear in lower floors at some point, providing them a way to acquire more of said materials relatively easily.
The mine levels can be depleted daily, they will appear untouched as another day comes, but the layout changes occasionally, leading to some exploration to locating a particularly rich vein of ore.
Harmful and dangerous materials are perfectly safe while inside the mine, radioactive materials can be mined without any risk of unpleasant side-effects of spending time around such materials. No radiation damage would be inflicted, nor poisoning by heavy metals. Removing these materials from the mine entirely without proper containment procedures is permitted, but the owner will feel a warning in their mind that the materials should be contained, and how to do so, before accidental contamination may occur.
The mine will also be capable of producing some liquid materials such as crude oil after reaching some pre-determined depth not yet known for certain, in which case constructing additional machinery to pump said oil into canisters to bring back up to a higher floor periodically will be an option. If said floor changes, the machinery and the oil-well will always remain accessible somewhere, but may take a bit of effort to locate on larger levels.
The mine entrance will gain a shipping crate after at least 50 kilograms of refined metal has been gathered, allowing the mine’s owner to place any materials they may want to remove inside the container to be sold off once the lid is closed. Materials sold like this will produce small metal currency called points, which can be used to acquire additional materials for various purposes in the mine.
It is also possible to add small tags found in a container strapped to the lid of the shipping crate to the products placed into it, to mark them waiting for delivery to the world outside the farm. The owner can use a second, delivery tag in the outside world, to have the goods appear at a designated location close to him by ripping the delivery tag in two, and stepping away from the spot. The goods tagged for delivery will appear at the location the tag was torn at on top of wooden pallets after the space is clear, or 10 seconds have passed.
The owner will gain a catalog of various mechanical parts and materials that can be acquired once they have sold their first shipment of materials, and can use the said catalogues’ fill-in forms to order things to be delivered within an hour onto a wooden pallet by the shipping crate, by filling in the form, dropping it into the shipping container, and closing said container. If the sum of points in their possession is sufficient, the ordered goods will appear shortly.
There is a fee for these transactions, making it better to mine for the metals you may want a better option than seeking to simply trade for them with whatever materials might have been easier to obtain until that point, but it is an option in a rush, simply not the best choice.
