Essence ofGenshin Impact

You gain a free age and appearance change to whatever you want. You may also be any normal humanoid race found in Genshin Impact (you may even be a half-adepti or humanoid youkai, if you want to).

You may choose a profession, such as being a chef or librarian, in which you have a few years of experience.

You become proficient in a weapon of your choice, such as swords or bows.

You become skilled in magic and alchemy, even without a Vision or similar.

At your choice, you may gain a Vision of your chosen element (Anemo, Geo, Electro, Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, or Dendro).

• Instead of a Vision holder, you may become a fully matured deity related to your chosen element. This increases your lifespan to thousands of years (if not more) and vastly enhances your elemental powers. Destroying cities and mountains can be very well within your ability.

(You may also let the element be random). This allows you to use your element in highly versatile ways. Unlike what would normally happen if you were to lose you Vision, your personality / ambition / memories will not be affected in any way.

You can also a store a weapon inside your Vision and materialize it in your hands whenever you need it.

Optionally, you may have a Delusion of any of the above elements, which may be the same or different from your Vision. This Delusion is more powerful than your Vision, but consumes a lot more of your energy in exchange. It can be used alongside your Vision.

Optionally, you may become the Traveler (Aether if male, Lumine if female), gaining their powers, memories, skills, and so on. You may choose if your personality mixes with theirs or not. Alternatively, you may simply have a similar nature and abilities to the Celestial Twins instead of being the Traveler.

• You may or may not be immortal, or at least extremely long lived, as the Traveler and their sibling are over 500 years old and look like teenagers.

• You gain the ability to fly and travel between worlds, as well as any elemental powers they have acquired in they stay in Teyvat (Anemo/Wind, Geo/Earth, Electro/Lightning, Pyro/Fire, Hydro/Water, Cryo/Ice, and Dendro/Life).

• You have resistance to corruptive influences and curses, as well as the ability to purify such things.

• Your body transforms into the Traveler’s, but you may opt out this this. This does not apply if you’re not the Traveler.

You may have any characters of your choice from the Genshin Impact universe become your companions.

• If you are the Traveler, then by default your relationship with these companions is whatever relationships (if any) the Traveler has with them, but you may still choose it to be whatever you want.

• If you are the Traveler, a small fairy-like girl named Paimon automatically joins you. She won’t ever betray you, but she’s not very smart. And kinda sassy.

• If you are the Traveler, you may not choose yourself as a companion. If you choose your twin as a companion, they are either Lumine if you are male or Aether if you are female.

You may choose what relationships and history you have with these characters (such as them being in love with you, being your friends, or whatever else).

You may choose which one of the Celestial Twins is the Traveler (unless you are the Traveler yourself).

Optionally, you may have a one-way trip to the Genshin Impact universe and into Teyvat, at any point in the story/timeline. By default you appear in Mondstadt, but you may start in any other nation of your choice. Instead of being simply dropped in, you may also choose to get reincarnated or even gain a history and memories in that world (maybe merging with a local counterpart).

• If you do this, you are guaranteed to meet the companions chosen above and develop whatever relationships are chosen (potentially resurrecting them if they are dead by the point you enter the story, which may draw attention).

• If you enter the Genshin Impact setting as the Traveler, you will self-insert into them and take their place in the story. This will guarantee that you meet the various characters the Traveler meets over Genshin Impact’s story (assuming you haven’t already met them by that point in the timeline).
