Essence ofDust

You may remake your body.

Human/Daemon: You may choose to be a human who is capable of seeing their Daemon (spirit), you may choose your Daemon’s form, name, appearance, personality, etc. Optionally, you may choose to be a Daemon who has a human that can see them, you can choose your form and appearance as well as design your human (name, appearance, personality, etc).

Distance: You and your other half are capable of traveling vast distances without danger or threat to one another’s life, emotions, and mental state nothing could break/severe your connection. The Daemon half will also be capable of becoming invisible and entering the body of their human half should they want.

Fluid Nature: Normally a Daemon would settle on a single form once they and their human had matured, and yet the Daemon in your bond even matured will still be capable of fluidly changing form including; mixing traits from different animals (an owl with duck feathers), becoming imaginary creatures (dragons, gargoyles, mammoths, etc.), taking multiple forms (Diania’s Daemon took the form of multiple butterflies), and human/humanoid forms (mermaid, human, harpy, etc.).

Same: A Daemon and their other half are two unique individuals with their own opinions, feelings and often a being of the opposite gender while still existing as one half of the same whole. You may remove this individuality and completely exist as both halves. This can be used on future relationships that would have a piece of you/your soul manifest as its own thing like Bleach zanpakutō spirits.

Witch: Optionally, you may be a witch from this setting, even if male you just don’t originate from Lyra’s world. As a witch you will age slower than humans, and can live for thousands of years, you will be unaffected by the cold, can feel starlight as a tingly sensation and moonlight as silk on your skin, fly with or without the use of cloud-pine, and all powers and abilities held by witches even those not listed. You may also gain items needed or expected of a witch like a cloud-pine branch and bow & arrows.

Panserbjørne: Optionally, you may be an armored bear; anthropomorphic giant sentient polar bears capable of human speech and in possession of opposable thumbs. As an armored bear you will be; extremely difficult to deceive, dexterous, a skilled metalworker. You will gain a full set of sky-iron armor fit for you, and a crate that will regenerate sky-iron.

Mulefa: Optionally, you may be a Mulefa, you can choose to be the diamond body shaped ones from the book or the ones from the show, you will receive a wheel-pod and a wheel-pod tree. As well as the ability to perceive Dust.

Angel: Optionally, you may choose to be an Angel from the HDM setting, making you a collection of sentient Dust that had taken a humanoid form. You will possess all the abilities of angels from the setting and can choose your power level from any other angel.

Golden Compass: You may gain your own Alethiometer a device that can help find true answers to a question. You will always be able to read your Alethiometer able to get the correct mind set and an answer even to questions you truly want to know the answer to, you could also develop new methods of using it and knowledge on how to create more.

Subtle Knife: You may gain your own Æsahættr, a double-bladed knife with one side being capable of cutting the fabric between the multiverse creating pathways (only the local multiverse until Jump end) and the other capable of cutting any substance. Your knife will never harm you, can change to a dulled state at your command, and will never break for you it might for others who attempt to use it but it will always reform for you. Your knife will also not create specters with its use and can close the windows/portals it creates or you come across.

Amber Spyglass: You may gain a telescope with amber lenses that allows for people to perceive Dust in the HDM setting, in future worlds this will show esoteric forces that exist in that world (magic, speed force, both sides of the force, etc.) if there are more than one a dial will appear on the side to toggle the distance of the lenses and show the other forces. You will gain the materials and knowledge to create more.

Dust: Optionally, you may become a creator, manipulator, and generator of Dust. This would grant you a whole host of abilities including; creating/restoring/hiding Daemons to those who have lost them or can’t see them, create enough dust to fill a multiverse twice before needing rest, move freely between the multiverse, exist as consciousness and perceive the conscience knowledge of the multiverse allowing you to identify truths, jumpstart someone’s ability to produce their own dust, grant consciousness to others, create and destroy angels, repel and destroy Specters, etc.

Abyss: Optionally, you may become a creator, manipulator, and generator of the Abyss an existence in the multiverse that draws in and traps dust and anything else that falls into it. This would grant you a whole host of abilities including; destroying/separating Daemons, move freely between the multiverse and sense when and where portals are open, exist as the bane of consciousness and absorb/feed on the conscience knowledge of others throughout the multiverse without danger of what you absorb, create and destroy specters, repel and destroy angels, etc.

Optionally, you may choose to receive any of the following people as your companions. You can pick as many as you want. The relationship between you and them is whatever you want it to be, and you can choose exactly how romantically and sexually experienced they are. This can be different for each of the characters but they will all be irrevocably loyal to you.

Anyone from the His Dark Materials franchise.

Optionally, you may at any time choose to take a trip into the world of His Dark Materials, or a variation of it. This can be any alternate universe, like a fanfic or one made perfectly for yourself. You can either simply be dropped in or reincarnated into the body of an existing character or someone new.
