Essence of TheAU

(Each part of this essence is optional.)

• You may remake your body.

• By taking any of these options you gain the ability to transform the universe you are in into an AU, with the option effecting the world in a manner of your choice (Retroactively, in that moment, etc.).

• Omegaverse: Grant secondary genders to the beings of the universe, you may choose alpha/beta/omega, alpha/omega, etc. and the percentage of the population who is what gender. You may also choose your secondary gender each time you activate this AU, even taking special options for yourself like being a hybrid and having the combined traits of multiple secondary genders, and gain better control over your instincts like your rut/heat/protective instincts/ etc. You may also gain a trunk containing any items you would expect to find/need in this setting; nesting materials, suppressant/blockers, collars, courting gifts, snacks and drinks, childcare items, etc. You may choose the AU’ rules and benefits based on versions of the AU you’ve heard of/seen/personally design.

• Single Gender: A similar/evolved version of Omegaverse where one main gender has been removed potentially because some mass extinction resulting in some phenomena/scientific advancement/etc. to allow the population to continue (allow men to get pregnant or female to impregnate). This will grant you the knowledge/ability to grant others these particular advancements.

• Soulmates: Grant each individual in the universe a soulmate, the perfect partner there romantic other half. This usually comes with some form of identifier so that individuals can find their soulmate like marks on the skin, an impairment that vanishes when the two meet, a stone half that combines perfectly with your partner, etc. you may decide the method each time you activate this AU. You may also choose a specific individual that you know of in the universe to be your soulmate. You may also design the AU’s rules and benefits based off of Soulmate fictions you have heard/seen/personally design.

• Harem (and/or Reverse Harem and/or Poly AU): You may make it so polyamorous relationships are allowed/occur in the universe you are in and are generally accepted, you can choose the percentage/rarity of a polyamorous relationship occurring even making it just occur for you or one person in particular. If you choose yourself to be in a harem you may choose the “rules” are you part of the harem or are you the focus of the harem. Note: If you took “Soulmate” and activated it alongside this AU you can choose how they interact such as some people having multiple soulmates or soulmates getting together with another pair or something else. If you choose yourself then similar to “Soulmate” you can choose who is in the Soul Harem and how they are connected.

• Monster: You may turn a percentage of the population of the universe into monsters and fantasy races like; orcs, elves, werewolf, vampire, fairies, naga, kitsune, oni, etc. you may also choose the percentage of specific races like only having werewolves present or something else (effectively allowing you to choose specific monster AU where everyone is that monster type and the world itself will change to accommodate the change like changing to an underwater world for merpeople). You may choose what species you are when you activate this AU gaining the abilities of your chosen species, this will become an alt-form.

• Space: You may transform the universe into a science fiction setting, this can include transforming some individuals into aliens, robots, and/or other futuristic races. You may choose to transform yourself into a futuristic species of your choice, this will become an alt-form. You may also choose to gain a Spaceship of your own design and other items you would expect of the setting like; blaster, space suit, robot assistant/pet, etc.

• Fantasy: You may transform the universe into a fantasy setting, this will usually transform the setting into that of a medieval style setting and can include fantasy based races and magic based on the original universe (Superpowers will turn into magical abilities or change the species of the individual into a fitting form). You will gain the items and skills expected of the setting including; clothing, weapons, mastery of a single medieval weapon of your choice, and if the original universe had something that would transform into magic than you may choose to gain access to a form of that magic as well.

• School Days: You may change the current universe into a School setting, potentially de-aging (or aging up) the main cast and enrolling them into a school year of your choice from preschool to college, or changing the setting into that of a school with adults being teachers and the younger people being students. This can also change the conflict of the setting into lighter school shenanigans (rival schools/clubs/etc.), or be a prologue of the main story. You may choose your position in the school depending on age, you may also choose to be the owner of a boarding school that will act as the main setting of your story (the school will enter a pocket dimension attachment). You may also gain a trunk containing an infinite amount of the expected items for the school setting; textbooks, pens, paper, pencils, uniforms, etc.

• Mundane (Slice of Life): You may choose to remove the dangers of the setting and transform it into a slice of life universe, this can also be used to remove the special features of the universe like; superpowers, magic, espers, etc. making the world a completely mundane version of itself. This can also transform the true setting into a show with the main cast being actors. You may toggle if this effects you.

• Special: The complete opposite of “Mundane”, special allows you to add a special quality to the universe, this can be something like granting wings to every human, granting magic into the setting, granting superpowers, etc. You may choose to be effected by this change whenever you use this AU.

• Genderbend: This allows you to swap the genders of the setting transforming males to females and females into males, you may also choose any other gender or variations instead. Optionally, you may choose to be more precise and only have a specific individual/group targeted. This can optionally grant you the ability to freely change your physical gender to whatever you want at any moment, you can also choose if the change is retroactive or not each time you change.

• Alignment Switch: This allows you to swap the alignment of the people in the setting; heroes to villains, villains to heroes, etc. you may also choose variations like only specific individuals being switched and/or can have this include abilities/items/etc. (Villain Deku getting AfO).

• Historic: This is a grouped AU, containing the multiple different era based settings (Ancient Egypt, Greek, Japan, Prehistoric, Etc.) and the time shenanigan based settings (Dinosaurs, Time-Travel, etc.). As such you may choose to transform the settings into; a past time period within the canon timeline (Going to the marauders era in HP), a past setting/time period with the canon cast changed to fit the new timeline and period, and/or bring something from the past/future into the current time period (dinosaurs like Jurassic park). This can also be used in reverse to bring settings that take place in the past to a modern day setting. Optionally, you may gain the abilities to freely move between time, timeline based parallel worlds, and are immune to time shenanigans and distortions able to sense them and act accordingly. You may also gain a trunk containing an infinite amount of any items/supplies needed for any potential timeline/period, such as period appropriate clothing.

• Royalty: This AU is usually used alongside Historic and/or Fantasy, with one or more of the characters being royalty. With this you may transform the world to one of kings/queens/emperors/prince/princess/etc. you can also choose what individuals are made royalty or choose specific individuals this can include yourself this can also let you pick the theme of each royal or leave it to chance. Optionally, if you choose yourself you will gain a trunk filled with appropriate clothing/items/supplies befitting a royal of your theme/design and a kingdom with loyal citizens who respect you (you may choose to have family fitting a royal AU like a sick parent who currently rules, a backstabbing sibling who will have you exiled and need to go in a mission to reclaim what they took, etc.)

• [Setting]: A grouped AU like Historic, but very different in nature. [Setting] allows you to change the main settings of the universe into a different setting most often this would be one Media’s cast being placed in a different media’s setting as if they were born in that world (MHA may have Deku as the Avatar and Bakugou as a fire bender if moved to the Avatar setting). Essentially this allows you to change the setting/universe into a different setting/universe without loosing any of the characters but usually resulting in a change of memory/power/etc. Optionally, you may gain access to any “abilities” canon to the new setting (bending if ATLA, quirk if MHA, force of SW, etc.), and a trunk containing an infinite amount of anything you may need for the setting you are in.

• Crossover: Optionally, instead of simply moving the cast to a new setting as natives, crossover will allow you to bring the cast of one setting into a different setting. This can occur by dropping them in with no changes, dropping them with changes to their abilities, and you can even choose if the settings are still connected maybe through a bridge portal, being in the same universe different planet, or by crashing together in some amalgam-verse.

• Holiday: Not really an AU (except when the setting doesn’t have the holiday in question), but more of a filler arc. This will allow you to implant holidays and special holiday based events with the guarantee that the main plot of the setting will pause to allow you to enjoy your holiday hijinks. I suppose you could also AU this to change the main cast into spirits of the holidays in some form. Optionally, you may gain a trunk full of infinite holiday items/clothing/decorations/food/supplies/etc. anything you could want or need can be found in here.

• Divine: With this AU you may transform the main cast into divine beings (Gods and Goddesses), this will grant them domains based on themselves and should you desire you may incorporate specific legends and myths into their being. Optionally, you may choose to be a divine being and gain one or more domains of your choice, plus a trunk containing an infinite amount of divine supplies like clothing, food and drinks, items of power, etc. you may also gain a group of twelve attendants of your complete design who are all completely loyal to you and willing to do anything for you.

• Parody: There are a special grouping of AU that this covers, AU that could be referred to as lemons, nsfw, smut, etc. that’s right this AU makes the setting more adult. This will provide you with a powerful porn logic allowing you to be prepared for anything and able to take/give anything with pleasure being the main outcome in the end, you are also able to toggle a “Xxxcript” effect that will allow you to perform similar interactions like those in an adult movie and/or story, perfect protection from any/all diseases, infections, mutations, and other negatives that could occur from intercourse and reproduction no matter what (including a toggle-able fertility), and the ability to identify a NSFW alphabet style list for individuals you are intimate with, optionally you may also gain the ability to change a person’s list.

• Headcanonology: With this option you can import headcanons regarding the setting into allowing you to choose what is real and what isn’t, you could even import your own personal headcanons. This option also allows you to edit the rules of the other AU abilities and options to personalize them in more precise ways.

• Reader Insert: Some might say that this isn’t an AU, but the involvement of a individual who wasn’t originally present would by their nature alter the setting by their presence alone. This will allow you to create a history in any setting you go to this can even include gaining histories/relationships with the locals (Friendships, Familial, Romantic, Rival, etc.). Optionally, you may gain access to the power to toggle a butterfly net, allowing you to prevent the “story” from going to far off the rails, the net will be able to change its range and the level of protection from insuring the main plot occurs 99% as intended to allowing the plot to be completely derailed into a completely new story.

• Self-Insert: Optionally, instead of going through the hassle of creating your own life and relationships why not take an already existing one? This will allow you to import into the position of already existing characters/people/individual replacing them completely and gaining their life, connections, materials, and abilities/skills. Optionally, you may choose to keep anything you gain or leave it. Note: This comes with the same butterfly net abilities of Reader-Insert.

• Humanoid: A world edit found in some AU settings, it is the addition and/or change of people, places, and things into humanized versions this can be split into a few categories the main versions being: Note: All of these can effect the main populace.

• Gijinka: The transformation of entities into human versions of themselves usually wearing clothing/costumes that show signs of their original appearance/form.

• Kemonomimi: The transformation of entities into human versions of themselves, but possessing minor physical traits from their original forms like monster girls, catboys, etc.

• Anthro: The transformation of entities into humanoid versions of themselves, while still maintaining a noticeable resemblance to their original form like furries, the cookies from cookie kingdom, etc.

• Personification: The transformation of entities that results in a human form representing the spirit of the original entity manifesting into the world like the sword spirits of Touken Ranbu, food spirits of Food Fantasy, etc.

• Optionally, you may choose to receive any of the following people as your companions. You can pick as many as you want. The relationship between you and them is whatever you want it to be, and you can choose exactly how romantically and sexually experienced they are. This can be different for each of the characters but they will all be irrevocably loyal to you.

• Anyone from any setting/universe.

• Optionally, you may at any time choose to take a trip into any setting/universe, or a variation of it. This can be any alternate universe, like a fanfic or one made perfectly for yourself. You can either simply be dropped in or reincarnated into the body of an existing character or someone new.
